HO HO HO, Slaton!

Santa Red & Blue has already started receiving applications — but several have missing or incomplete information. To avoid delays, please make sure your application is fully filled out and all required documents are included before turning it in.

📌 Important Reminder:
The office will be closed from Wednesday, November 26 through Monday, December 1. Please plan accordingly when submitting your applications.

Santa Red & Blue applications will be released this week!
They are currently being printed and should be available Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

Starting Wednesday, you can pick up an application at:
The Slaton Police Department
Any Slaton ISD campus

Santa Red & Blue is a service organization that helps the citizens of Slaton, TX. We provide Christmas dinner and toys for families and Christmas dinner for the elderly and the homebound citizens of Slaton.

Mrs. Camargo's homeroom brought the most food for Santa Red and Blue. They won a pizza party. Congratulations and thank you for supporting Santa Red and Blue.

Details for Santa Red and Blue for this Saturday, December 21.

Volunteers, please be here by 9 am. If you have a trailer, please line up on West Lynn St at the Police Department. If you are volunteering, please park in the lot by EMS on W Lynn. We will start as soon as everyone gets checked in and we take our annual picture. We will then load up trailers and deliver them to Santa Silver recipients.

Starting at 11 am., families will line up to pick up their gifts. If you signed up, you should have received a text message and email with your number. Volunteers, we ask that children and/or anyone attending Slaton ISD not help with this part of Santa Red and Blue. We do not want families embarrassed if their children's classmates fill their cars with Santa Red and Blue items.

We want to remind everyone that several first responders will be around town with lights and sirens on, so do not be concerned.

Several roads will also be closed during the day. Please try to avoid areas around the police department.
