VFW Post 7977 VFW Post 7977 proudly serves the Skiatook and Sperry communities as a cornerstone of support for veterans and their families.

Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs (ODVA) on site Wednesday's from 9am to 3pm. We are honored to be the home of the District 5 Honor Guard, who are dedicated to rendering final honors to ALL veterans, ensuring their service and sacrifice are never forgotten. Our post also hosts a small-town bingo hall every Friday night, open to the public and offering a welcoming space for camaraderie and fu

n. While everyone is welcome to join in our events, our monthly business meetings are reserved for members only. Within our post, the Auxiliary plays a vital role in supporting our veterans and strengthening our community through their unwavering dedication and service. Together, we uphold the values of respect, honor, and community that define VFW Post 7977. VFW Post 7977 post meets 7pm the second Thursday of each month at 13319 N Cincinnati Ave Skiatook for business meetings. Message us for membership eligibility!

On this day, we pause to honor those who served β€” and those who never returned.

At the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7977, we stand united with our brothers and sisters in arms across the world in remembrance of the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month β€” when the guns fell silent in 1918.

We remember the fallen.
We honor the living.
And we reaffirm our duty to never forget the cost of freedom.

β€œTo our comrades who have borne the battle, and to those who still carry its weight β€” we salute you.”
