One of our own Firefighters Floyd Baker will be fighting in Smoke & Guns 11 @ BOK Center in a charity event. April 25, 2026 @ 7pm. All proceeds go to Oklahoma Firefighters Burn Camp and Special Olympics Oklahoma. Come out and support your local Firefighter and both charities.

The Skiatook Local 4067 would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Carter family, Curtis and Venus, for their generous donation toward the monument of the Fireman’s Prayer. This monument will be placed outside the Skiatook Public Safety Center upon its completion, serving as a tribute to the courage and dedication of our firefighters.

We had the opportunity to meet with some Skiatook High students today to discuss some of the Forensic Investigations involved with the fire service as well as teaching CPR. We were able to show the students our newest tool that can provide perfect compressions via an automated chest compression device. Students were also taught and trained on how to handle choking infants and how to help provide aid prior to EMS arriving on scene.

PSA! Our area is expected to receive some extremely cold temperatures and possibly some freezing precipitation at the end of this week and into next. It is important to remember some safety tips when preparing to deal with the cold. Space heaters, torpedo heaters, and fireplaces are great when they are used PROPERLY.
