We get it. You're fed up with "those bikes" or "those people". Either you're seeing the negative posts on your socials and jumping right into the comment section to add your 2cents or you have had first hand experience with a dangerous rider swerving into your lane or nearly take you out on the trail.

Listen, we hate bad trail etiquette and unsafe riding too! But, the bottom line is we can all agree that we don't like the behavior, not specifically the bike.

Because the truth is that Ebikes can also make transportation possible for many people who might not have access to a vehicle or public transit.

Ebikes make it possible for older adults get farther with electric assist when they no longer have the stamina for a bike ride. Which also means more people are outside, in nature, getting Vitamin D and boosting their mood.

Ebikes make it possible for people with disabilities to ride with friends.

Ebikes make it possible for us to bring this cool adaptive trike right to the front door of a nursing home so that residents who haven't left the building in months can feel the wind in their face and talk about the nostalgia of a bike ride- recalling memories of their childhood.

So, next time you hear someone hating on Ebikes or you're tempted to do so yourself, please remember this one thing- Ebikes means accessibility for so many people.

So, let's not ban ebikes, let's change bad behavior on ebikes!
