We have an opportunity for raising funds for our post. Any volunteer can sign up through this Sign-up Genie and in the comments, say that they are with VFW 1845 or VFW 1845 Auxiliary. We'll be able to distribute $35 per volunteer, per game (and it wouldn't matter the stand that we are in). We will then cut a check to you, after we receive the funds.

Info on volunteering:

Address of the Stadium--Fluor Field: 945 S. Main Street, Greenville, SC

Parking: We recommend parking at the Greenville High School. It is free parking if you are a volunteer...and then walk over to the stadium.

Report time of the stand is noted in the Sign Up Genius and that is when volunteers need to arrive. They will be there until the end of the game.

All volunteer staff must enter through the employee door/roll up area. This is the ONLY access point for volunteers to enter in the stadium. This is at the "Field Street" entrance.
A copy of the volunteer schedule will be there (you must say you are with THE ELKS LODGE), so they send you to the correct location.
All volunteers are subject to a metal detector (wand) upon entry.
Please be sure to only bring the necessary items that you need.
Things to know before volunteers commit:
The volunteers will be working in concession stands and must physically able and mature enough for working the stands. (ie. lifting, filling orders, working registers, pouring beers (only for over age 21 volunteers), etc).
Must wear proper attire.
Closed toe/heel shoes (tennis shoes or sneakers)
Shirts that identify your group or a PLAIN COLORED SHIRT (people can wear VFW shirts)
Must wear a hat. The hat can be plain in color or a Drive or Red Sox hat. If they do not wear a hat, hair nets will be provided.

FYI: We will be closed this Saturday in observance of our Independence Day. However, we will be celebrating our great nation’s 250th birthday this Friday, July 3rd!!!

Join us for a celebration on Friday, July 3rd. We will be serving hot dogs and corn on the cob and welcome you to bring a side dish to share. We open at 2PM. Hope to see you there!

VFW Post 1845 invites you to join a Memorial Day celebration, taking place on Monday, May 25, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Complimentary burgers and hot dogs will be provided. We kindly request that you bring a side dish to share. The event will feature live music by Cody Blackwell from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Hope to see you there!
