We are currently trapping cats at a house on Lone Oaks Loop in Silverton where cats were abandoned.
When the house was being cleaned out, several cats were let loose, and we have spent hours trying to safely trap the cats that are still living under and around the house.

This is an unexpected expense for Silverton Cat Rescue. We are a small, all-volunteer rescue, and trapping, veterinary care, food, and supplies add up quickly. We never know when situations like this will arise, but we can't leave cats living under an abandoned house without help.

We understand that abandoning animals is a terrible thing. We agree. Negative comments about the “owner” don't help us trap, care for, or find homes for these cats.
We are already spending hours trying to safely trap cats that were left behind, and this has created an unexpected expense for our small, all-volunteer rescue.
