This event has celebrated the rich timber history in Mason County since 1945! In 2022 Forest Festival is returning to “normal”! FREE FAMILY FUN!

With multiple events over four days, Forest Festival is always the weekend after Memorial Day! The festival was created to help combat the destructive wildfires in the region, while also promoting the importance of forests to the local economy. Plan to enjoy all or part of this fabulous event! This event would not be possible without the generous support of out sponsors. Throughout the program you

will notice the advertising from local companies and merchants. Please consider them when making your next purchases. Forest Festival is a volunteer organization, we look forward to adding more volunteers to our little group. Message us if you're interested.

The Royalty took the ferry up to Downtown Seattle and explored Pike Place and the waterfront before finding the float!

More to come, but here's a peek at Forest Festival at Seafair Festival Alaska Airlines from last night! We won the Workmanship Award for the second year in a row!

We may have "commercialed" as we rolled through the TV zone, but you can still catch the students' smiling faces 🌲

A GIANT thank you to all the families who have continued to support their Royalty member, as the students' season can't be completed successfully without it. We've had a great bunch of support crew showing up to each parade and yesterday was no exception.

Our float and royalty crew are headed to Seafair Festival for the Alaska Airlines Torchlight Parade tomorrow night. Parade will be broadcasted SATURDAY on Fox13 starting at 7:30pm!

Thank you Capital Lakefair for another stunning parade! Our court received the Children's Choice Award which has the legendary Donna the Dragon on it. Thank you for your gracious hospitality and pumped up parade crowd!

Forest Festival made its debut at the Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce Bite & Business Expo today! Great conversations were had about sponsoring and advertising plus scholarships for high schoolers in Mason County!

Thanks for all those who ducked our axe throwing today. Lots of fun with those littles!

Thank you to the team at Green Diamond for facilitating an educational and enjoyable tour of your working forests! Our Royalty Court, accompanied by our 2025 Paul Bunyan, got to see behind the scenes of the 6th generation forest management company, right here in Mason County.
