🩷🥳 FOSTERING INDEED SAVES LIVES. JUST LOOK AT BUBBY. 🥹❤️

Y’all. TEN DAYS. That’s all it took to completely turn this boy around. Look at him! DO YOU SEE THAT BELLY?! 😭🥹

We genuinely thought Bubby wasn’t going to make it. He was so fragile, and we were terrified we were going to lose him. But today? He has a full little belly, he’s warm, he’s loved, and he’s getting the medications and care he needs to keep fighting. ❤️

TEN DAYS CHANGED EVERYTHING.

And do you know what made that possible? A foster home. Someone willing to open their heart and home to a little life that desperately needed a chance.

Trisha, we truly cannot thank you enough. You stepped up for Bubby when he needed someone the most. You gave him warmth, comfort, love, and the chance to fight for his life. You didn’t just foster a kitten. YOU SAVED HIS LIFE. And we mean that with every ounce of our hearts. 🥹❤️

This is why we beg for fosters. This is why we talk about fostering over and over again. Because sometimes, the difference between life and death is simply having a safe place to land, someone to care, and someone willing to say, “I’ll take him.”

You don’t have to foster forever. You don’t have to save every animal. But you can be the reason ONE gets a chance.

Bubby is living proof. Ten days ago, we were scared we were going to lose him. Today, we’re looking at that belly and smiling through tears. 😭❤️

Update! Pancham has been hired as a mouser! Thanks for loving him.

🚨 HELP WANTED: PANCHAM IS LOOKING FOR A JOB! 🐾

Our sweet boy Pancham has made one thing VERY clear: he needs a job, and he’s ready to clock in! 😂 He’s got his resume ready, his references are questionable, and he’s pretty sure he’s overqualified for life at the rescue.

📋 Pancham’s Resume

🐟 Wet Food Champ — A true professional. Never misses a meal and takes his job VERY seriously.

🐭 Mouser Extraordinaire — We’re talking 10/10 potential. Those instincts weren’t made for sitting around a rescue all day!

😴 Bored at Work — Current position at the rescue just isn’t fulfilling his career goals. He needs a new environment and a purpose!

🙅‍♂️ Independent Contractor — Not the biggest fan of people or being fussed over. He’ll accept a gentle pet on his terms, though, and sometimes he even decides we’re worth sticking around for! (for .35 seconds..)

💊 Not a Fan of HR Meetings — Being picked up or medicated is NOT in his job description. Please respect his boundaries.

😻 Handsome & Qualified — Just look at that face. Surely someone has a position available for this distinguished gentleman!

🏡 IDEAL POSITION: Barn cat, working cat, or indoor/outdoor lifestyle in a SAFE, appropriate setting with a family who understands his independent personality.

Pancham may not be the guy who curls up in your lap every night, but he still deserves a place to call home. He needs someone who appreciates him for who he is and will let him build trust at his own pace.

And seriously… DID WE MENTION HE COULD MAKE A GREAT MOUSER?! 😂🐭

FLUFFER NUTTER OF THE DAY!!! 🥳

🐾 MEET MAGGIE! 🐾

Grumpy Cat who? Because this girl might have the face of a grump, but her heart is pure sweetness. 🥹❤️

Maggie came to us toward the beginning of this year, very pregnant and preparing for motherhood. On April 2nd, she welcomed four babies into the world, but heartbreakingly, her last baby was born sleeping. 💔 Poor Maggie just wasn’t herself over the next few days, and we could tell she knew something was missing.

Then came an orphaned baby who needed a mama, and Maggie stepped up! She hesitated at first, but it didn’t take long for those mama instincts to kick in. She did an amazing job loving and caring for her little one. 🥹

But now? It’s Maggie’s turn to be someone’s baby. ❤️

Estimated to be around 2 years old, Maggie is quite possibly the chillest adult cat you’ll ever meet. She has the most hilariously grumpy face, but don’t let that fool you! This girl is as sweet as can be.

She loves pets and head scratches, and she’ll happily headbutt you when you open her kennel. She’s tidy, quiet, and just an all-around laid-back girl who would love a cozy place to call home.

Maggie has spent her time being a mama and taking care of everyone else. Now she deserves a family who will spoil her rotten. 🏡💕

🎉🐾 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR VERY OWN ANDREA! 🐾🎉

Every rescue has those special people. The ones you call when you’re out of options, running on fumes, and desperately trying to figure out how to save one more tiny life.

For us, one of those people is Andrea. ❤️

She’s our bottle baby whisperer, our emergency phone call, and one of those people who genuinely doesn’t seem to have the word “no” in her vocabulary. 😂 When the tiniest, sickest, most fragile little lives need someone, Andrea is always willing to figure out a way.

And I mean ALWAYS. Even when life is throwing her own challenges her way, she’s still saying, “I can make it work!” Meanwhile, we’re over here telling her, “ANDREA. NO. WE’VE GOT THIS ONE. GO TAKE CARE OF YOU!” 😂❤️

But that’s just who she is.

Andrea has one of the biggest hearts you’ll ever encounter. She’s a woman of God who doesn’t just talk about loving others. She LIVES it. Through her kindness, her compassion, her willingness to serve, and her absolute inability to turn away from an animal in need.

I’m also fairly certain that if Andrea could actually BE a cat, she would. Without hesitation. 🤣🐈

She’s also my Roo, and I’m her Chicken. 🐓❤️ And somewhere along the way, this crazy rescue life gave me so much more than a volunteer. It gave me a friend who will literally travel with me to help animals and families devastated by flooding in Texas. A friend I know I can call when I need absolutely anything.

Andrea, I hope you know how loved and appreciated you are. Not just for the countless little lives you’ve helped save, but for the incredible human being you are. You give so much of yourself to everyone around you, and I pray this next year brings you even a fraction of the love, joy, and blessings you so freely give to others.

🤠🐾 ALRIGHT, EVERYONE… THESE COUNTRY BABIES ARE READY TO FIND THEIR FOREVER HOMES! 🐾🤠

Meet Dolly, Carl Dean, and Jolene! 🎶❤️

These little country cuties are about 10 weeks old, healthy as can be, and thriving! They aren’t quite ready to go home under a standard adoption just yet, but we ARE officially accepting CLAIMS for these three babies! 🏡

You may remember their story. These three were taken in from Bedford County Animal Control after being found dumped in a feed sack on the side of the road. 💔 Sadly, one of their siblings never made it out.

But these babies? They’ve fought hard, grown big, and are finally ready for their next chapter. 🥹❤️

Now, let us tell you something about these three… THEY ARE VERY MUCH KITTENS. 😂

They will play with literally anything they can get their little paws on. A wet food can lid on the floor 2 seconds after you open the can? TOY. A stray piece of kibble? TOY. Somehow, a rogue piece of p**p that missed the litter box? Apparently, ALSO A TOY. 🫠

Their foster can often hear them body-slamming each other from the other room. Wrestling matches are apparently a full-contact sport in this household. 🤣

They love cat trees, windows, toys, and all the things typical kittens love. They are busy, silly, playful little babies who need a home that understands that kittens come with chaos, curiosity, and approximately zero personal space.

They are beautiful, hilarious little souls, and we love them SO much. Watching them go from such a heartbreaking beginning to thriving, happy kittens means everything to us. ❤️

🐾 KITTENS… KITTENS… AND MORE SICK KITTENS. 🐾

Well… here we are again. 😭

We just took two litters from city animal control, only for the county to call us TODAY asking for help, too.

Now we have 4 tiny babies who are sick and in need of a little extra TLC. 💔

These babies have upper respiratory infections and need antibiotics, lots of love, and frequent meals of kitten formula mixed with pâté to make a yummy, nutritious gruel. 🥣

And honestly? They are at that PERFECT cute, wobbly, playful kitten stage. 🥹 They just need someone willing to give them a little time and a warm place to recover.

SOOO… WHAT IS IT?! DOES NO ONE HERE LIKE MILKSHAKES?! 🥤

The best ice cream treat in the world?!

And don’t worry… she’s spayed, so her Milkshakes WON’T bring all the boys to the yard. 😂💀

But seriously… this girl has been waiting OVER A YEAR for someone to scoop her up!

She’s young, beautiful, chatty, snuggly, and full of personality. She was an amazing mama, and now she’s ready to be someone’s spoiled baby.

She just has one request: fewer roommates. 😂 She can tolerate maybe one other cat, but a house full of feline roommates? Milkshakes has officially submitted her two weeks’ notice.

She’s also shown us that she really wants to enjoy some outdoor time, and while we believe cats are safest indoors, we are willing to consider the right, responsible indoor/outdoor home for her.

So come on…

Somebody scoop up this Milkshake! 🥤❤️

We are SO incredibly grateful for the fosters who continue to step up… even when they’re already full. Even when they need a break. Even when they probably have a million reasons to say, “I just can’t right now.”

They do it anyway. ❤️

Because at the end of the day, it’s all for the love of the kitties.

Animal Control reached out to us with two litters who needed help, and of course… our team made a way. 🥹🐾

We may be full. We may be exhausted. We may constantly be saying, “We cannot take another one.”

But when there’s a kitty who needs us, our incredible fosters somehow find a way to make room.

We could never do what we do without them. ❤️

This is rescue. This is teamwork. This is what happens when people choose to make a difference. 🐾

It definitely takes a village!
