Bowling for Boobs

Bowling for Boobs Bowling for B***s is an annual event held the Saturday before Mother's Day to raise both awareness and money to FIGHT breast cancer!

BFB is not an "organization" but rather an "event" - initially started in 2009 to raise the necessary funds to participate in the Chicago 3-Day. On that day we raised $2300! In 2010, BFB2 raised over $3000 and the money was donated to Relay for Life.

Emmily is 7 years old her cancer came back late last year. This is the second time she has had it. Her father is also ill and unable to work. Emmily has been running fevers and low counts can not always have her treatments. She is a very sweet little girl who is waiting to be healed very patiently. Well ladies ... cancer has robbed us yet again. Our hearts are broken for the family and friends Jennifer left behind, but her courage, determination, and optimism will live on forever if WE continue to fight!!!! What an inspiration this woman was ... and will always be!

A very special "thank you" to the family of Kristie Frederick for the memorials that were given to Bowling for B***s (Funds for the Fight) in her honor. What a great start to next year's fundraising! This evening I had the privelage of delivering a check to another family. As I watched little 3 year old Chloe sleep ... her dad told me all about what their life has been like for the past 2 1/2 years that she has been sick while her mom packed for yet another stay in St. Louis. Chloe has had her 4th reoccurance of cancer and is at her limit for chemo, so tomorrow they start radiation ... again. Please keep Brian, Becky, and Chloe West in your prayers.

Ok "B**b Troop" (a/k/a - Bowling for B***s ladies) ... I need YOUR help!! I have 2 Tickets to a Cardinals game to raffle off! They are 2011 Season Tickets for August 23rd against the Dodgers. 1st Base Terrace, Section 442, Row 6. They were purchased at Steve Goralski's benefit.
