What an incredible week! ❤️ Thanks to our amazing volunteers, community partners, and donors, we served 623 meals and provided 31 showers to our neighbors in need. Together, we're making a difference! 🙌💙

🍽️✨ Another Amazing Week at the Community Cafe! ✨🍽️

What a week! Thanks to our incredible volunteers, community partners, and supporters, we served 598 meals to our guests this week. Here's a look back:

🌭 Monday, 6/1 – 104 guests served
A huge thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Greater Sheboygan for donating delicious brats with corn, potatoes, and salad!

🍗 Tuesday, 6/2 – 122 guests served
Nellie and the Fat Man Father Daughter Baking Team treated our guests to BBQ chicken, rice & beans, and garlic bread. A crowd favorite!

🥪 Wednesday, 6/3 – 95 guests served
Sargento Cheese provided sandwiches, and Parkside Restaurant donated their famous chicken noodle soup, along with fresh salad.

🥣 Thursday, 6/4 – 116 guests served
Guests enjoyed chicken and rice soup, turkey sandwiches, hot ham & cheese sandwiches, fruit, veggies, and chips.

🍕 Friday, 6/5 – 79 guests served
Wendy's now famous Pizza casserole, salad, and fruit were on the menu, and volunteers from KOHLER helped make the day a success!

🍔 Saturday, 6/6 – 82 guests served
St. Peter Claver prepared and served a fantastic meal of hamburgers, calico beans, German potato salad, and bananas. Sandi's awesome son grilled!

And our friend John Ranieri & friendsfrom Sheboygan Pasty Co. dropped off some yummy pasty's.

💙 A special shout-out to Wendy, Amber and Sandi who work tirelessly behind the scenes coordinating volunteers, keeping everything running smoothly, and making sure our guests leave with full stomachs and caring hearts around them. Wendy wants a BIG raise to afford the cool car pictured! 😆

Thank you to everyone who cooked, served, donated, volunteered, and supported our mission. Together, we're building a stronger and more compassionate community—one meal at a time. ❤️

Happy and Grateful! ❤️

Today marks my 1-year anniversary at the SC Warming Center. While I still miss my time at the Sheboygan County Food Bank and the wonderful people I worked alongside there, I am incredibly grateful for this journey.

Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to learn, grow, and collaborate with so many dedicated individuals and organizations throughout our community. Together, we’re working to support people experiencing homelessness and helping those who are striving for a better future.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this meaningful work. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn, serve, and make a positive difference.

Grateful for those that work along side me!
