🍽️❤️ Help Us Fill the Tables at the Warming Center!❤️🍽️

We are getting ready to open the Sheboygan County Warming Center on November 1, and we need YOUR help providing warm, homemade meals for our guests!

Each night, we welcome adults who need a safe, warm place to sleep, a hot meal, and a little reminder that their community cares about them. You can be part of making that happen by signing up to prepare a meal! 🥘

Looking for an easy way to help? Here are a few ideas!

👩‍🍳 Gather your friends! Instead of one person making several pans of lasagna, get 4–5 friends together and have everyone make one pan. Meet at the Warming Center, bring your dishes, and enjoy some time together while making a difference!

🍝 Keep it simple! Spaghetti, baked ziti, casseroles, chili, soups, taco bar, sloppy joes, and lasagna are all great options.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Make it a group project! Ask your family, coworkers, church group, book club, or neighborhood friends to take a night to provide dinner.

❤️ Every meal matters! You don't have to cook for a crowd by yourself. Team up with others and share the work!

🙌 Want to meet the people you are helping? Gather your group and meet at the Warming Center to bring your meal and see the space where your kindness makes a difference.

We serve more than food. We offer warmth, dignity, connection, and a place where people are welcomed just as they are.

That's part of the conversation we're hoping to start on October 22nd.

Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness explores how communities can think differently about homelessness and housing - and we're bringing that conversation right here to Sheboygan.

We're not gathering because we have every answer.

We're gathering because we believe the people in this community have ideas, experience, resources, and a willingness to work together.

Join us at 9:00 AM tomorrow at St. Luke to help move tables and chairs and give our tables a good wash as we get the Community Cafe ready to serve our amazing community! 🍽️✨

🍂❤️ CC WEEK IN REVIEW! ❤️🍂

Another week filled with full plates, generous hearts, and a community that continues to show up for our guests! We are so grateful for every church, volunteer, donor, and helping hand that makes these meals possible!

This week & next we have been asked to leave St.Luke because they are putting in a NEW DISHWASHER!! Thank you St. Luke United Methodist Church - Sheboygan we are so excited to see the new kitchen area and ps the kitchen is also getting a facelift with a fresh coat of paint! yippee 🥳


🍲 Monday- 80 Guests Served
Mini chicken sliders mashed potatoes beans lots of baked desserts from Crossroads Sheboygan.

🍲 Tuesday - 69 Guests Served
Black Pig provided delicious baked bean and sausage soup. Crossroads brought spaghetti and meatballs and Alfredo noodles, and we added garlic breadsticks, corn bread, fresh salad, and sweets!

🥣 Wednesday - 95 Guests Served
Parkside Family Restaurant chicken noodle soup, club sandwiches (yum, bacon! 🥓), salad, and lots of other goodies made for a wonderful meal! West Side treated everyone to donuts, too!

🥣 Thursday – 75 Guests Served
Beef barley soup, leftover spaghetti, chicken burritos, fresh fruit salad, garden salad, and delicious brownies made for a wonderful meal! And Wendy knows who brought those brownies! 😉

🍕 Friday – 80 Guests Served
We were treated to pizza! We also served Black Pig split pea soup and Jessica Ambling’s delicious brownies.

We were invited by Sheridan Elementary School to their assembly where the kids presented us with placemats that they created to use at the Cafe! Thank you kids - It was a great day!

🥪 Saturday – Approximately 79 Guests Served at Hope Church
St. Clement Church provided French bread sloppy Joes, chips, and fresh veggies.

🥣 Sunday - 40 Guests Served
at Hope!
Serving Hands provided the meal of soup, salad, and donuts for Sunday guests. We are so thankful for this partnership and for everyone who makes these meals possible!

⛪ A Special Thank-You to Grace Episcopal Church, Sheboygan WI & Hope Church! Thank you for providing a wonderful meal for our guests and for being part of the team caring for our community!

Today, we recognize individuals and families experiencing homelessness and the challenges they face in finding and maintaining safe, affordable housing. Homelessness can happen for many reasons, and having access to the right resources and support can make a meaningful difference.

The Sheboygan County Housing Coalition is committed to educating, advocating, and facilitating change to enhance housing opportunities and help build a thriving, healthy community.

Let's continue working together to create a community where everyone has a place to call home. 💙
