Small Gestures Make a Difference

Last week, the Sharon Center School PTO welcomed our new staff with a little plant, hoping they’ll stay, grow, and thrive with us.

Today, for Custodial Appreciation Day, we thanked our amazing custodians with gas gift cards and chocolates for keeping our very germy school 😂 clean and safe for our kids!

These are some of the little things your PTO does to support our students, teachers, and staff and help create a positive school environment.

📣 PTO MEETING TOMORROW!
We’d love to see more parents join us for our October PTO meeting! ❤️

This month, Principal Carol Tomkalski will be joining us to give a brief school update, and we’re also excited to welcome Bryan Failla from Sharon Parks & Recreation, who will share some of the upcoming activities they have planned for our community.

And remember, you don’t have to volunteer, speak, or take on a role to attend. Feel free to simply log in, listen, and stay informed about what’s happening at school and what the PTO is working on. Every parent is welcome, and there’s absolutely no pressure to participate.

Trunk or Treat is back and bigger than ever!

🍔🌭 **BACK TO SCHOOL PICNIC THIS WEDNESDAY!** 🌭🍔

We’re looking forward to kicking off the school year together at our **Back to School Open House Picnic** this Wednesday, September 16th from **5:00–7:00 PM!**

If you’re planning to join us and haven’t RSVP’d yet, **please complete the RSVP form by Monday night.**

The PTO will be providing **burgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers**, and families are invited to bring a dish to share. We want to make sure we purchase enough food for everyone while also avoiding unnecessary food waste, so having an accurate headcount really helps us plan.

And if you’re wondering whether you should come... **YES! Come!** 😄

This is a great chance to meet other families, reconnect after summer, enjoy dinner together, and start the school year as a community. **New families, returning families, PTO regulars, and families who have never attended a PTO event before are ALL welcome!** ❤️🤍🖤

Our PTO/PTA helps support **school activities, special events, fundraising, teachers and staff, and opportunities that make the school year extra special for our students.**

And getting involved doesn’t have to mean taking on a big commitment! 🙌

You can:
⭐ Share an idea
⭐ Volunteer for one event
⭐ Help from home
⭐ Join a committee
⭐ Attend meetings when you can
⭐ Or simply come listen and learn more about what we do

**Every parent has something valuable to bring to the table, and every little bit of help makes a difference.**

We also currently have a **Co-Secretary position available** for anyone interested in becoming more involved.
