Words can’t express the beauty of what God brought together these past two days at our Emerald Coast FCA Heart and Soul Kickoffs! He placed us in the right space, at the right place, at just the right time. 💚

From Walton to Okaloosa, more than 1,300 young people, sponsors, and coaches came together to love the Lord out loud!

All created, planned, and put into worship by our student leaders from Walton to Okaloosa.

Okaloosa was a packed house! Worship filled the room, testimonies were shared, and prayers were lifted. Hearts were open, and the space was His—all for His Glory!

Living in His space is truly heaven on earth!

Thank you to our generous donors and sponsors for supporting Emerald Coast FCA. You help our young people make space for Jesus in the middle of their busy days—to grow in faith, encourage one another, and carry His love into their schools, teams, and communities.

All Glory to God! 🙌 2026-2027 Emerald Coast Heart & Soul FCA Kickoff serving Okaloosa and Walton Counties.

Today’s reflection, tomorrow’s blessing… Day 2 of celebrating where it all began! 🙌

As we shared yesterday, fourteen years ago, at the beginning of Emerald Coast FCA, we gathered students from Okaloosa and Walton for an FCA Breakfast in February. The seeds planted then are still multiplying today!

That gathering has grown into October’s Heart & Soul Kickoffs, with students leading worship, sharing the Word, and praying together.

Today, we praise God as Walton stepped into a new beginning—helping shape the future of FCA in Walton County and carrying forward the call to make disciples who make disciples. What a blessing to see a new generation grow from the faithfulness of those who came before them!

Tomorrow, the blessing continues as Okaloosa gathers at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at Northwest Florida State College, carrying that same legacy of faith and student leadership forward.

Please join us in praying for unity among our students, coaches, schools, and ministry teams. May God strengthen their ministry, deepen their relationships, and multiply their influence for Christ across every campus.

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” — Isaiah 43:19, NIV

Two counties, one mission, and a new season blooming. We thank God for every faithful person who helped plant the seeds—and for the students now stepping forward to sow into the next generation.

What’s happening with Emerald Coast FCA?…come check it out…For more than 14 years, Emerald Coast FCA students have built a legacy of knowing Jesus, growing in Him, and sharing Him with others.

Tomorrow, that legacy takes a new step with our first student-created, student-led HEART & SOUL KICKOFF! ❤️ We are so proud of our Walton County students leading worship, the Word, and prayer tomorrow, followed by Okaloosa students on Wednesday.

Students reaching students—making disciples who make disciples!

“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”
—2 Timothy 2:2 (NIV)

What a joyful day for TEAM Emerald Coast FCA! Full hearts, familiar faces, new friendships, and so much to celebrate!

We kicked off the morning with board training, welcoming a new season of community leaders eager to serve coaches and athletes across the Emerald Coast. Having Shane Williamson, President of FCA, join us made the day even more special!

Then it was time to celebrate! Our evening fundraiser brought old friends and new teammates together for laughter, fellowship, and a shared love for this ministry.

A special, heartfelt thank-you to Edwin and Mary Watts for graciously hosting us in your home! Your generosity, hospitality, and love for Emerald Coast FCA made this evening such a blessing. We are so grateful for you both!

Our mission: To lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

Our vision: To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

To everyone who joined us, gave, served, and prayed—thank you from my heart. Your love for this ministry and the coaches and athletes we serve means more than words can express. I’m deeply grateful God has brought us together to share His love across the Emerald Coast. We thank you 🙏

FCA_Niceville night of worship..brought us to our time for Prayer, Reflection and a deeper understanding of Worship. - in mediation, prayer and praise ..we leaned in to His Breath ……
In every 24 hours, God gives us 86,400 seconds. At an estimated 16 breaths per minute, we take about 23,040 breaths—one every 3.75 seconds. Each breath is a gift, reminding us that our life comes from Him.

“For in him we live, and move, and have our being.” —Acts 17:28, KJV

With each new breath, may we grow deeper in understanding His love and more attentive to His calling. Every second is an opportunity to live for Him—to love, serve, pray, and honor Him with the life He has given us.

“Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.” —Psalm 150:6, KJV

What a gift to be in a room with young and seasoned professionals, all eager to learn from John Maxwell. He shares with such humility and love, drawing from the experiences that shaped his newest book, How to Get a Return on Failure. He reminded us how to live more intentionally through the successes and failures that sit side by side in our daily lives. Thank you, Destiny, for bringing us together and making our lives fuller through moments like this. ❤️

The Joy of Community!

I had the pleasure of attending the Meigs Middle School Alumni & Friends Tailgate, surrounded by friends from the past and reminded of the beautiful seasons we shared as teammates and families.

Parents celebrated the teachers and coaches who helped them raise, teach, and shape their children into who they are today. That is the true meaning of alumni—although years may pass, we remain united through friendships, memories, and community.

As the little ones walked onto the field, dreaming of the day they may play there themselves, the middle school athletes prepared for their game. Behind them stood an entire community—not only supporting its children, but celebrating old friendships and creating new memories together.

Seeing one of our FCA coaches serving on this campus was another beautiful reminder that community reflects something eternal. Through Christ, we belong to a family that will never fade away.

This is Meigs Middle School—friends, families, teachers, coaches, students, and alumni coming together to celebrate the past, embrace the present, and build memories for the future.

Go Meigs! What a joy it is to be part of this community!

The Lord’s Grace” — 1 Timothy 1:12–20 🙌

FCA Freeport Middle school students gathered in the multipurpose room for a powerful peer-to-peer FCA Huddle! We love watching student leaders share God’s Word and remind their classmates that His grace is greater than our past and His purpose is bigger than our mistakes. ❤️
