🎉 Congratulations to our Quarterly Award Winners!
👏 Chuck & Ann, Volunteers of the Quarter, are the kind of neighbors everyone hopes to have. They’re always ready to help fellow residents, volunteer in the General Store, lend a hand when needed, and even helped with cleanup after the hurricane. And through it all, they always have a smile to share!
💙 Kevin, Employee of the Quarter, is a strong and steady LPN who continually steps up for our residents and team. He takes on extra responsibilities, helps train new LPNs, and has a special way of making residents and families feel heard, cared for and valued, usually with a little joke thrown in for good measure. 😊
We’re lucky to have all three of you as part of our Village family. Congratulations! 🏆

It was an honor to welcome CMSgt Israel Nuñez, Senior Enlisted Leader to the Chief of Air Force Reserve and AFRC Command Chief, to AFEV! 🇺🇸
After touring our community and learning more about our mission, the team held their annual strategic offsite at the Gates Building and even rolled up their sleeves to volunteer at our resident rummage sale. 💙
We’re grateful for Air Force leaders who take the time to connect with our mission and serve alongside us. Thank you for spending the day with our AFEV family!

Our 9K may have gone virtual, but our runners still showed up! 💙

As we continue highlighting the different locations that participated in our 9K series, we couldn’t leave out the run that had to make a last-minute pivot from in-person to virtual.

Our participants took it in stride, literally! They found their own routes, logged their miles and captured some great photos along the way, all while supporting the Air Force Enlisted Village and the people we serve.

Different routes. Same mission. 💙👟

🏗️ One year of progress!
From breaking ground to walls and siding, Village 7 has come a long way in just one year. And now we’re only six months away from welcoming new residents home! 💙

Partnerships make our mission stronger.
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming USAA’s Military Affairs representative for the Gulf Coast, CMSgt Sarah Esparza (ret) USAF, for a tour of the Air Force Enlisted Village and an opportunity to see firsthand the community their support helps strengthen.
From sponsoring the Bob Hope Memorial Golf Classic to supporting the CMSAF Binnicker Memorial 9K, USAA has been a tremendous community partner. We’re grateful for their continued commitment to AFEV and the military community we proudly serve.

Florida weather may have stopped our in-person race, but Hawaii said, “We’ve got this!” 🌺🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A HUGE shoutout to at JBPHH, where a record 75 participants laced up for Race at Your Base and raised more than $4,000 for our mission! 💙

The weather was beautiful, the turnout was incredible, and these photos say it all!

Mahalo, AFSA Aloha Chapter 1550, for showing up in such a big way for the Air Force Enlisted Village! We are incredibly grateful for your support. 🌴✈️💙

And Hawaii wasn’t the only community racing for our mission! We had four other Race at Your Base locations step up in support, and we can’t wait to give each of them their own well-deserved shoutout. Stay tuned as we celebrate them next! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💙
