๐Ÿ’™ Thank you, NextEra Energy Foundation and Florida Power & Light, for your generous $4,000 grant to support smoke detector replacements throughout the Air Force Enlisted Village!
This important investment will help enhance safety and peace of mind for the residents who call our community home. We are honored to partner with organizations that share our commitment to improving lives across Northwest Florida.
As Florida Power & Light's External Affairs and Corporate Philanthropy team shared, โ€œYour organizationโ€™s incredible work aligns with our mission to build strong sustainable communities and enhance the lives of NW Florida residents.โ€
We are grateful for your support and dedication to strengthening communities and helping us continue our mission of serving retired enlisted military members and their surviving spouses.

In January we received a grant from Emerald Coast Community Wellness Foundation, Inc. to support a personalized wellness program for one-on-one fitness training for our residents to improve strength, balance and mobility. 8 months later the program is thriving thanks to their support! We were able to hire Heather to provide personalized sessions with 35 (and counting!!) residents. The support we receive from grants like these provide valuable services to our residents! Thank you!

Please help us celebrate Alice Luton on her 10-year anniversary with Hawthorn House!
When Alice was hired, she shared that she was a loyal employee and that her longevity would depend on one thing: how residents were treated. A decade later, she's still here, proving that she found a place that shares her passion for putting residents first.

Alice's dedication, compassion, and commitment have touched countless lives over the past 10 years. Congratulations, Alice, and thank you for all you do for our residents every day! โค๏ธ๐ŸŽ‰

AFSA Summit 2026 was a fantastic opportunity to connect with Airmen, families, retirees, and supporters from across the Air Force community. We were proud to share the Air Force Enlisted Village story and raise awareness about our mission of caring for surviving spouses of retired enlisted Airmen.
During the Parade of Checks, we were especially grateful to receive support from AFSA chapter 1073, AFSA Chapter 615, Barksdale AFB, and chapter 363, along with generous individual donors. Nearly 60 years ago, AFSA helped establish Air Force Enlisted Village, and their unwavering support continues to make a lasting difference for the residents we serve today.
Thank you, AFSA, for your partnership, dedication, and commitment to taking care of our Air Force family. ๐Ÿ’™โœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
