Yesterday, the Shakopee Lions gathered at Miracle Field in Tahpah Park to dedicate a memorial bench in honor of Craig Kinsel.

Craig was a member of the Shakopee Lions from 1998 to 2024 and served a term as club president. His generosity and commitment to serving others left a lasting mark on our club and community.

This bench provides a place for his family, friends and fellow Lions to sit, share memories and remember Craig. Its plaque carries a message that reflects his years of service:

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

Thank you to everyone who joined us to honor Craig and to those who helped make this memorial possible. 💛💙

The Shakopee Chamber and Visitors Bureau captured the ribbon cutting on video. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnEGEL_Q5zk
