What a great day at the 3rd Annual Shakopee Lions Pickleball Fundraising Tournament!

On Saturday, August 1, players came together at the Lions Park pickleball courts for a fun day of competition, community, and support for the Shakopee Lions Club. We had 20 total teams participate, with 12 teams in the competitive division and 8 teams in the fun division.

What a night! Wednesday's Grand Opening of the Miracle Field of Shakopee was everything we hoped for, and more. A packed crowd at Tahpah Park, kids on the field, families in the bleachers, and a community that showed up to celebrate what we built together.

Today is the day.

After years of planning, fundraising, and community support, the Miracle Field of Shakopee opens tonight at Tahpah Park.

Join us from 6:00 to 8:00 PM for our official Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening. The official ceremony runs from 6:30 to 7:00 PM, with open play before and after. Come see this amazing field and celebrate what this community has built together!

Two weeks from today...

On Wednesday, May 27, the Miracle Field of Shakopee opens to the public for the first time. After years of dreaming, planning, and building, our community will gather at Tahpah Park to celebrate a field built so every player can take their turn.

When: Wednesday, May 27, 2026
Time: 6:00 to 8:00 PM
Where: Miracle Field at Tahpah Park, 1490 Adams St S, Shakopee

Bring the family. Bring a glove. Bring a neighbor. The Shakopee Lions will be grilling hot dogs, and the field will be open for play from the moment the gates open at 6:00 PM. The official ribbon cutting and first pitch happen at 6:30, followed by open play through 8:00.

Free, open to the public, no RSVP required!
