What a night! Wednesday's Grand Opening of the Miracle Field of Shakopee was everything we hoped for, and more. A packed crowd at Tahpah Park, kids on the field, families in the bleachers, and a community that showed up to celebrate what we built together.

Today is the day.

After years of planning, fundraising, and community support, the Miracle Field of Shakopee opens tonight at Tahpah Park.

Join us from 6:00 to 8:00 PM for our official Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening. The official ceremony runs from 6:30 to 7:00 PM, with open play before and after. Come see this amazing field and celebrate what this community has built together!

Two weeks from today...

On Wednesday, May 27, the Miracle Field of Shakopee opens to the public for the first time. After years of dreaming, planning, and building, our community will gather at Tahpah Park to celebrate a field built so every player can take their turn.

When: Wednesday, May 27, 2026
Time: 6:00 to 8:00 PM
Where: Miracle Field at Tahpah Park, 1490 Adams St S, Shakopee

Bring the family. Bring a glove. Bring a neighbor. The Shakopee Lions will be grilling hot dogs, and the field will be open for play from the moment the gates open at 6:00 PM. The official ribbon cutting and first pitch happen at 6:30, followed by open play through 8:00.

Free, open to the public, no RSVP required!

What a great day yesterday at Jackson Town Hall for the 22nd Annual Shakopee Lions Ice Golf & Winter Extravaganza!

The weather cooperated, the course played great, and the turnout was fantastic. Thank you to everyone who came out to tee off on the ice, bid on auction items, warm up by the bonfires, and enjoy live music from Heartbreaker.

A big thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who grabbed an event button. All proceeds go directly to supporting our community service projects through the Shakopee Lions Foundation.

We're already looking forward to #23. See you next year!

IT'S TOMORROW!! The 22nd Annual Shakopee Lions Ice Golf & Winter Extravaganza is HERE!

Grab your crew and join us TOMORROW, Saturday, February 7th at Jackson Town Hall in Shakopee for the coolest (literally) golf tournament around! Tee off on our 18-hole ice golf course — clubs provided!

Here's the scoop:
* Doors opens at 10:30 AM | Tee off at 11:00 AM | Event runs until 5:00 PM
* Silent Auction: 11 AM – 4 PM
* Live Auction & Prize Drawing at 3 PM
* Bonfires + Live Music by Heartbreaker
* Food, beer, seltzers & more right on the course!

TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR! Just $20 gets you an event button and into all the action. No advance purchase needed — just show up and have a blast!

WEATHER CHECK: Tomorrow's forecast is calling for highs in the upper 20s! Classic Minnesota winter weather... perfect for ice golf! Dress in warm layers, grab your best winter gear, and we'll have bonfires to keep you toasty out there.

Need a ride? Bus service runs every hour from Babe's Place and The Public House in downtown Shakopee between 11 AM and 5:30 PM. Free parking is available at Friendship Church with transportation to the course. Safe ride home services are also available!

All proceeds support the Shakopee Lions Foundation and go right back into our community.

Give to the Max Day is this Thursday (11/20) and is Minnesota’s annual day of generosity created to support local nonprofits and community projects that make a difference right here at home. Please consider donating locally to the Miracle League of Shakopee Field.

Thousands of kids in our community are looking for a place to play ball, feel included, and be part of a team. The Miracle League of Shakopee will make that possible with an all abilities field at Tahpah Park.

100 percent of your donation goes directly to building the field. And with gifts of at least $250, your name or family name will be permanently placed on our donor wall.
