Relay For Life of Scott County MN

Due to the effects of Covid-19 and lack of community volunteers, there will not be a local Relay For Life event this year. We encourage anyone interested to still support the American Cancer Society mission. They need our support for their life saving work, which continues through all we've been through the last 1.5 years.

We encourage you to Relay Where You Are! Create a "Day of Hope" at your workplace or neighborhood! You can create your own fundraising page for your business place or team and Relay Your Way! Invite family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to join you! Our website is still open for you to create your fundraising page if you're interested.

Thank you for your past support of this wonderful community event! We ROCKED Relay for 23 years, so let's keep it going OUR OWN WAY for the 24th year!!

Wonderful luminaria walk event to top off of Stronger Together MN week long event! Thank you to our teams, donors, leadership team and community members who joined us tonight!! Much different than normal, but we made the best of it AND MADE A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY!! See you next year!!💜💜💜

Hello Relayers,

Tonight is our luminaria walk through at Shakopee High School! Due to the weather, we have updated our start time to 7:00 pm and the event will still run until 10:30 pm. If you signed up for a time before then, we will follow up with you individually!

You can still sign up for a time slot here: https://forms.gle/YK3XxZguTF6je2M79. We will also accept walk-ins for time slots that do not hit capacity (we will note on the form if any do)

In an effort to keep all our participants safe, we are taking some extra precautions:

Please stay home if you feel sick or have any of the following symptoms: Fever above 100.4 or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea

For all volunteers and participants, facemasks are required to be worn at all times. If you have one of your own, please bring it, otherwise one will be provided for you.

Please stay 6 feet apart from other participants

The statewide Stronger Together Virtual event is also tonight from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. You can watch via Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/events/262329571551441/. The posts will be under the discussion tab. We understand that this overlaps with our luminaria event, but the videos and posts will stay on the page afterwards so you can check them out at any time! Also, you do not need to have a Facebook account to watch. When you click on the link, a box will pop up asking you to log in or join. You can click the "not now" button at the bottom to watch without an account.
