Special Presentation at Today’s Meeting

Our club was honored to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from the Marine Corps League - Major B. F. Hickey Detachment 57 in recognition of our continued support of their organization and its mission.

The certificate was presented by Bernie Adams. We are grateful for this recognition and proud to partner with organizations that make a positive impact in our community while supporting our veterans and active-duty service members.

Thank you to Bernie and the members of the Marine Corps League for this honor. We look forward to continuing our partnership and service to the community.

Today’s Kiwanis Guest Speaker

Today, our club had the pleasure of hearing from Christine Hamacher of SAGES - Plays With Purpose.

Christine shared how SAGES uses the power of play, creativity, and engagement to enrich the lives of older adults and individuals living with dementia. Through purposeful activities and meaningful connections, their programs help promote joy, dignity, cognitive stimulation, and social interaction.

Thank you, Christine, for the inspiring presentation and for the important work SAGES is doing in our community. We appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your mission and the positive impact your organization is making every day.

Our Kiwanis Club of Seminole Breakfast members had a wonderful time volunteering at Seminole’s Kids Appreciation Day and helping create a fun, meaningful day for local children and families.

Today's Kiwanis Club of Seminole Breakfast guest speakers were Graci Tubbs and her mother, Kadi Tubbs, representing Operation Military Matters (OMM).

We were honored to learn more about OMM's incredible mission of supporting active-duty military members, veterans, and their families. As part of our club's ongoing commitment to this important organization, Club President Brett Kennedy proudly presented Graci with a $500 donation to help further their impactful work.
