UPDATE:we have raised $1600 - thanks so much for helping us raise funds for our rescue.

Hi inky followers - I am the treasurer for Inky and wanted to share some information about Inky. I am one of the original people that helped start Inky back in 2017. When approached to help start this rescue I said I will do the books because we will live and die by bad money management and we need total accountability where money goes. Inky post their books usually quarterly (if I don’t get behind from working full time and volunteering with an inky).

Our rescue is very small but we have a very dedicated group of volunteers, fosters and board members. We are very proud of what we have accomplished so far and pray we can continue. We are a 501c3 !!

For those that don’t understand how rescues work, let me say we get no help from anyone except donations from our supporters and events where we try to raise funds to continue to try to keep this rescue going and be able to help the animals in our community. THE NEED IS OVERWHELMING!! Daily we get request for people wanting to rehome animals and found animals needing help.

Fundraising-Let me give you an example - we setup a booth and worked 8 hours at and event last weekend and got around approx $100 in donations. We are appreciative for that but it doesn’t go far. Why am I bringing this up you are asking? We are in need of money. I know our economy is bad and people are struggling- but we can’t turn a blind eye to the animals in need as well. We recently were hit with a 1200 bill that really hit us hard and we need help. We have several kittens to be fixed and that on-top of this bill will literally break us.

We recently had a post that went viral with all these kittens-if all these people donated $1 we could make some headway. PLEASE HELP INKY HELP THE ANIMALS IN OUR COMMUNITY.
