A nonprofit sanctuary dedicated to rescuing horses in need and hosting equine-assisted therapy, wellness and educational programs for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our Mission: Rescue and rehabilitate horses who need help and a home, offering them a way to heal and connect with people. We are a nonprofit teaching center dedicated to equine-assisted therapy and lifelong learning. For more than a decade, Happy Dog Ranch has helped hundreds of horses and thousands of people benefit from the human-animal bond that flourishes here. We provide a safe, peaceful environment where animals and nature can work their miracles in transforming and enriching our lives. We serve as a community destination for learning, with mental health and wellness programs for youth, seniors, people with cognitive and physical difficulties, veterans, first responders, students and community groups. We also host equine education and wellness workshops and clinics.

Quincy and Martino started grooming each other within minutes of meeting. There’s just something so sweet about watching two horses click right away. 🥰🐴

Graphite is living his best life! 🥰🪥 He absolutely loves having his teeth brushed and seems to think it’s the best part of his day. 😂💙

Who knew a little dental care could feel like a spa treatment?

How to give a goat a pill… 🐐💊

Step 1: Put the pill in a bowl of grain.
Step 2: Give it to Billy.
Step 3: Let Billy do the rest. 😂

Billy makes medication time look pretty easy! Thanks to our staff for keeping up with all the little things that keep our animals happy and healthy. 💙
