Come learn about Reducing Food Waste at a Carbon Conversation at the Grange on Oct. 14. Food Waste is a major contributor to Greenhouse Gas Emissions worldwide. We’ll learn about local efforts to reduce waste throughout the food cycle, from farm to table. 6:00 pm: mix, meet & meal. 615pm: Program starts. Gather here to mend and craft while making new friends, every other month. Learn new skills, get help with a project, and strengthen our community one stitch at a time. Plus take part in a clothes swap/fabric swap.

Everyone is invited to our general meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 29. Join us for socializing at 5:30pm, followed by a potluck dinner, music, and an informative presentation.
Celebrating the bounty of Sonoma County, our meal offering will be a Hearty Vegetarian Soup prepared by Grangers.
Laura Shafer is leading a team of willing Grangers (thanks all who have stepped up already) in collecting garden produce and preparing soup for our communal supper.
We ask Grangers and guests to bring appetizers, salads, favorite breads, or desserts to add to the Harvest potluck. Remember to bring your own soup bowl with all your table settings and festive tablecloths and decorations to add to our Harvest theme.
After dinner, our musicians will entertain us, followed by our speaker, Rachel Jeffries from Habitat for Humanity.

Come to the Produce Exchange/Donation on Tues., Sept. 22, 5-5:45pm!
Bring your extra garden produce to the Grange to share and take home some of others’ surplus. Anything leftover will be donated. Master Food Preservers will be on hand to answer food preservation questions. Held on second and fourth Tuesdays.
