Seattle's Office of Planning & Community Development has a survey on the station area development for the future light rail locations. Here's your chance to weigh in on all kinds of options including better sidewalks and crossings as well as bike infrastructure. There's a lot of details in here. The word from folks on the ground is that the Delridge trail under the bridge remains OPEN and is not currently being detoured. All but one of the detour sandwich boards are gone as well. No word from SDOT or Sound Transit on this but we’ll keep you posted.

In case you missed it, the Fauntleroy Community Association held a forum to discuss safety improvements for the area around the ferry dock and the section of Wildwood Way where Maridee Bonadea was recently killed attended by SDOT, Washington State Ferries, King County Transit, and D1 CM Rob Saka. There was a lot of support for establishing a short but critical bike lane by removing a limited amount of parking. The meeting was covered in full by the West Seattle Blog here:
