Welcome to the 30th anniversary of the West Seattle Garden Tour! This year the tour features twelve unique and wonderful gardens. We are so grateful to the garden hosts who share their gardens each year, spreading joy and inspiration to our visitors and making it possible for us to achieve our mission: To raise and distribute funds to promote horticulture, education and artistic endeavors within West Seattle and neighboring communities.
Garden I – A Fresh Look
Wisteria weaves across the front fence beneath an old beech tree where lemon-lime hydrangeas and hostas thrive in its shade. Espaliered pear and apple trees soak up the warmth of the westside of the house leading to vegetable garden and spacious gathering place.
Garden J – Garden of Many Rooms
This garden is a love letter to London, where every pub has a garden of many rooms and to Sydney, Australia, where botanical gardens welcome visitors year-round sights and fragrance.
Garden K – Plants from Around the World
Ascend hillside steps through waving, silver maiden grasses, heather and rock rose and arrive at a patio bordered by daphne and dogwood, with a view of the Sound. Step through a gate into a once impenetrable garden, into a world of plants from China, Japan, Turkey, Chile, and New Zealand.
