Sand Point Arts & Cultural Exchange SPACE facilitates cultural uses, activities and programming in Warren G. Magnuson Park.

The board of directors, staff, and volunteers of SPACE are committed to our organization's role in creating an inclusive, diverse, and equitable Seattle. We acknowledge the structural inequities and systemic barriers within the arts for many marginalized communities that include people of color, indigenous, women and the LGBTQ communities. We recognize that the unceded land we operate from, and the park we all enjoy, was once home to the Coast Salish peoples. We furthermore acknowledge the neighborhoods of North Seattle were previously redlined as an effort to exlude Black, brown, Asian and Jewish people. We work to actively remedy the past by claiming ground for intentional representation and by facilitating diversity among the artists we serve and the programs we produce and broadcast.
