Don’t forget! Our annual Schuylerville FFA Banquet is tomorrow, June 2nd, at 7:00 PM in the High School Auditorium.

Be sure to check the recognition list to see if you will be receiving an award, degree, scholarship, or special recognition during the evening. We have a lot to celebrate from another outstanding year of FFA success!

Even if you’re not being recognized, we encourage all members and their families to attend. The banquet is a great opportunity to celebrate our chapter’s accomplishments, recognize the hard work of our members, and reflect on an incredible year together.

Our annual Awards Banquet will honor our 2026 competitors, graduating seniors, and award recipients for their hard work, leadership, and dedication throughout the year.

Today was Timothy’s day. 💙💛

We just witnessed Timothy Cox officially be installed as the 2026-2027 New York FFA State Vice President!

From the moment he began his FFA journey, Timothy has demonstrated an incredible passion for agriculture, leadership, and service. Watching him take the stage today and accept the honor of serving over 30,000 FFA members across New York was truly a moment we will never forget.

Over the next year, Timothy’s life is about to become a whirlwind of leadership experiences. As a State Officer, he will travel across New York representing the New York FFA Association at conferences, conventions, leadership events, chapter visits, and agricultural industry functions. He will help facilitate workshops, inspire members, advocate for agricultural education, and work alongside his fellow state officers to help shape the future of FFA in New York.

There will be early mornings, long days, countless miles traveled, and memories that will last a lifetime — and we know Timothy is more than ready for the challenge.

Congratulations, Tim! Your Schuylerville FFA family is beyond proud of you, and we cannot wait to watch the impact you make this year.

Huge congratulations to Shane Barraclough, who was selected as 1 of only 12 finalists across New York State to present “Shark Tank Style” in front of a panel of judges at the New York FFA Convention! 🎉

Contestants presented and requested financial support for their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) project — a hands-on, student-led agricultural business or work experience that allows FFA members to apply classroom learning in real-world settings while developing career and leadership skills.

We are excited to share that Shane was selected as one of the winning recipients to receive funding! 👏

While many people know Shane for his equine projects, what some may not realize is that he also co-owns and operates “Dean’s Delicious Dog Treats” alongside his brother, Dean. Their business currently sells homemade dog treats in 14 different businesses throughout Saratoga and Washington Counties and is continuing to grow rapidly.

Shane plans to use the funding to design, develop, and purchase custom treat cutters to help increase production efficiency and reduce waste as the business expands.

Congratulations, Shane! We are incredibly proud of your innovation, entrepreneurship, and hard work! 🐾💙💛

Congratulations to our Food Science Team on earning 3rd Place in New York State at the 2026 New York FFA Convention! Out of 40 teams from across the state, these students showcased incredible knowledge, teamwork, and professionalism throughout the competition.

🌿🏆 ANOTHER STATE WINNER ALERT! 🏆🌿

Please join us in congratulating Peyton DeLisle on being named the 2026 New York FFA State Winner in Nursery Operations Placement! 💙💛

Peyton’s award-winning SAE takes place at Grasshopper Gardens, her family’s first-generation landscaping and nursery production business located just outside of Saratoga Springs. Grasshopper Gardens operates three nurseries totaling 150 acres, along with six greenhouses, and generates nursery sales through both retail plant sales and large-scale landscape projects.

Through her work experience, Peyton has developed extensive skills in nursery production and operations. Her responsibilities include operating equipment for topsoil screening, transporting materials for landscaping projects, pruning and maintaining trees and shrubs, monitoring plant health, and assisting with the day-to-day operations that keep the business running efficiently.

Peyton’s dedication, work ethic, and passion for the green industry have truly set her apart. Her success reflects countless hours of hard work and a strong commitment to agricultural education and hands-on learning.

Congratulations, Peyton! We are incredibly proud of all you have accomplished and excited to see you represent New York FFA on the national level this fall. Best of luck at Nationals! 🌱👏

We are so excited to share that our Food Science team has officially placed as one of the TOP TEAMS out of 40 from across New York at the 2026 New York FFA Convention! 🧪🥛🍎

The Food Science Career Development Event tests students’ knowledge in areas such as food safety, product development, quality assurance, sensory evaluation, and the science behind food production. Team members apply real-world agricultural and food industry skills while competing in a variety of hands-on activities and written components.

Congratulations to Shane Barraclough, Jordan Battle, Peyton DeLisle, and Anika Laciokova on this incredible accomplishment!

It’s competition day for our Marketing Plan team at the 2026 New York FFA Convention! 📈💙💛

The Marketing Plan Career Development Event challenges students to develop and present a strategic marketing plan for an agricultural business or product. Team members must demonstrate their skills in communication, business strategy, teamwork, and agricultural marketing while presenting their plan to a panel of judges.
