🚨 In-House Registration Closes Saturday! 🚨

If you haven’t registered for the upcoming season, please don’t wait! Register today and help us get everything organized for a great season. Waiting until the last second makes it harder for us to build teams, plan schedules, and prepare for our players.

We are also still looking for Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches! 🙌

If you are strongly considering helping coach this season, we need you! Coaches are what allow us to create balanced teams, avoid unnecessary double headers, and give our players the best experience possible with coaches who are able to complete training and support their teams.

You do not need prior coaching experience, we will guide you every step of the way. Every single one of us was a rookie coach at one point! 😊

🚨 Travel Registration Temporarily Reopened! 🚨

Parents we have sent out multiple reminders through email and Facebook regarding Travel registration, and if you missed the deadline or forgot to register your player, registration is TEMPORARILY open again!

Please take advantage of this opportunity and sign up today, this will be the last opportunity to register. There are still a few spots available in certain divisions, but space is limited!

We are also in need of Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches for our Travel teams. Coaching is what allows us to create teams and provide a great experience for our players.

Fall In-House Registration closes THIS SATURDAY!
If your child plans to play soccer this fall, please register today. Do not wait until the last minute. Every season we have families reach out after registration closes asking if they can still sign up.

Timely registration helps us:
⚽ Build balanced teams
⚽ Recruit and assign coaches
⚽ Order uniforms
⚽ Create schedules
⚽ Prepare for a successful season

Our club is run entirely by volunteers, and we rely on registration numbers to begin all of this important work. The sooner families register, the better we can plan for our players and coaches.
Please help us spread the word by sharing this post with friends, neighbors, and classmates who may be interested in joining Schererville Soccer Club this fall.

Just a reminder that summer camps are not a drop-off event. For the safety and security of all our players, a parent or guardian must remain on the fields during the entire camp session.

There will be NO late registrations, so please register before the deadlines.

We also encourage parents to consider signing up as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach. SSC is a volunteer-run organization, and we cannot provide soccer opportunities without volunteers stepping up to help. If you've never coached before, don't worry we will help guide you every step of the way. Every coach in our club was once a first-time coach.

Coaching is about much more than soccer. It's about helping kids learn, grow, build confidence, make friends, and develop a lifelong love for the game.

Not sure which program is right for your child?

⚽ In-House Soccer focuses on learning the game, skill development, teamwork, and having fun in a less competitive environment.

⚽ Travel Soccer provides a more competitive experience but stays local. Our travel teams compete against other Northwest Indiana communities, with the farthest travel generally being locations such as Crown Point, Portage, Hobart, and Lowell, not all across the state of Indiana.

Registering on time helps our volunteers:
• Build balanced teams
• Recruit and assign coaches
• Create schedules and rosters
• Order uniforms and equipment
• Prepare for a successful season

Don’t forget! Travel Registration closes THIS FRIDAY, June 20!

If your child plans to play travel soccer this fall, please register today and don’t wait until the last minute. Early registration helps us form teams, schedule evaluations, and secure coaches for the upcoming season.

⚽ Current in-house players interested in trying travel soccer should register for Travel. If your player does not make a travel team, they will be placed back into the appropriate in-house division.

⏰ Registration closes Friday, June 20 — no exceptions!

🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 🚨

The Schererville Soccer Club is in urgent need of volunteers to help serve on our Board of Directors. As a volunteer-run organization, we rely on the support of our community to continue providing a positive soccer experience for the children in our area.

While we are always looking for Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches during the soccer season, there is a tremendous amount of work that happens behind the scenes during the offseason to make each season successful.

We are currently looking to fill the following positions:

⚽ Treasurer
⚽️ Director of Registrar
⚽ Director of Uniforms
⚽ Director of Referees
⚽ U4 Commissioner
⚽ U6 Commissioner
⚽ U10 Commissioner
⚽ U12 Commissioner

Our mission is to provide a fun, safe, and rewarding soccer experience for the youth of our community, but we cannot do it without dedicated volunteers. Every member of our Board of Directors donates their time and talents outside of work, family, and personal commitments because they care about our players and families.

Even if you can only commit for one year, your help would make a tremendous difference. Fresh ideas, new perspectives, and helping hands are exactly what we need to keep our club moving forward.

Without volunteers stepping into these roles, it becomes increasingly difficult to continue offering the quality soccer program our community has come to expect. We need your help to ensure Schererville Soccer Club remains strong for years to come.

If you have any interest in any of these positions—or are simply curious about what they entail—please reach out to us. We would be happy to answer your questions and explain the responsibilities of each role.

We also welcome anyone interested to attend a Board of Directors meeting. Our meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month and are a great opportunity to learn more about the club, meet current board members, and see how we work together to support soccer in our community.

Together, we can continue creating a great soccer experience for the kids of Schererville! ❤️⚽
