This past Saturday Mt Zion’s XYZ group went on the road again! This time to visit Fort Defiance and enjoy a meal and fellowship at the Brushy Mountain BBQ and Creamery in Wilkesboro. Even a little rain didn’t dampen our time together

Last week, a mission team from MZBC had the privilege of serving alongside the Shelby Mission Camp in Shelby, North Carolina, sharing the love of Christ in a variety of meaningful and impactful ways.

Throughout the week, the team brought encouragement, fellowship, and joy to residents in nursing homes and an adult day care center, taking time to listen, connect, and brighten the days of those they visited. They also prayer walked through the community, lifting up the needs of the city, and spent time in downtown Shelby engaging in heartfelt conversations, conducting community surveys, and praying with individuals they met along the way.

We are deeply grateful for each team member who responded to God’s call to serve and for the many opportunities they had to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Please continue to pray that God will water the seeds that were planted and continue working in the hearts and lives of all who were impacted during this mission trip.
