Some traditions are simply too sweet to stop.

Years ago, we first met these two wonderful young kiddos, Violet and Ivy, when they walked into our former pantry location to donate proceeds from their very first lemonade stand. Their generosity and caring hearts made a lasting impression on all of us.

This summer, they returned once again—continuing their amazing tradition of giving back by donating the proceeds from their lemonade stand to the Ozaukee Food Alliance.

Watching these girls grow while helping the pantry has been so fun! We are so grateful for Ivy and Violet and their family! 💕🍋

Outreach Market — Happening TODAY ❤️

Stop by today WEDNESDAY, June 17th for our Outreach Market — happening from 11AM until 2PM in the front lobby of Ozaukee Food Alliance (100 E. Green Bay Ave., Saukville).

This market is open to community members who may not be able to schedule a pantry appointment this week but would still like to pick up some fresh food and non-perishable items to help stock up your pantry and fridge.

Just come into the front lobby, grab the food you can use for your family, and go! It’s that simple.

Thank you to everyone who sent bottles of shampoo or items off of our Amazon wish list the past few days! We were blown away to arrive at the post office yesterday and find all these boxes waiting for us! Very grateful to everyone who has drop off or sent an itefor your kindness. ❤️📦🙌

We are so grateful for the donation of these two new-to-us produce display units for our pantry. As we enter the fresh produce season, these displays will help us better store and showcase fruits and vegetables, giving families more fresh options to choose from during their visits. We loved showing them off at the pantry this week! 😍

Garden Harvest Spotlight: Garlic Scapes! 🧄

This week, we harvested garlic scapes from our garden, and we're excited to share them with our community!

Garlic scapes are the curly green stems that grow from hardneck garlic plants. They have a fresh, mild garlic flavor and can be chopped finely and used much like garlic in soups, stir-fries, eggs, dips, and more.

One of the things we love about garlic scapes is that they're an early-season harvest, providing fresh garden produce before the garlic bulbs are ready. They're also easy to grow and make a delicious addition to many recipes.

This is our first year growing garlic, and we're thrilled with the results. We look forward to sharing more of our garden harvests throughout the season! ❤️

Urgent Need at the Food Pantry 🚨

Our toiletry shelves are running very low, and we are in desperate need of full-sized bottles of shampoo for the families we serve.

While food is essential, personal care items like shampoo are often one of the hardest necessities for families to afford. A simple bottle of shampoo can make a big difference in helping someone feel clean, confident, and cared for.

If you're able to help, please consider donating full-sized bottles of shampoo. Donations can be dropped off at Ozaukee Food Alliance inside the pantry or in our drop off box in front of the building.
