The Rotary Club of Santa Rosa’s next meeting is Wednesday, June 3, 2026. We meet at the Iron and Vine Restaurant at the Bennett Valley Golf Course, 3330 Yulupa Avenue, Santa Rosa. Lunch starts at 12:00 and the program begins at 12:30. This week:

Public Safety Award Program hosted by Craig Meltzner

Annually we look forward to our Rotary Club Public Safety Awards program, initiated by our late Club member Lee Abramson during the Club presidency of Stephen Olson.

The program was subsequently named the Lee Abramson Public Service Award in his honor. Since 1995 we have annually recognized the outstanding City of Santa Rosa firefighter and police officer and, more recently County Sheriff’s officer, for their contributions to keep our communities safe.

This year we will honor Captain Jessie Taintor, with the award presented by Fire Chief Scott Westrope; Police Officer Matt Rooney, award presented by Police Chief John Cregan; and Lieutenant Kelly Burris, presented by Sheriff Eddie Engram.
