We had an amazing time hosting the Area Contest last Monday! A big shout out to the contest participants, your speeches were remarkable. Thank you to all the members that helped organize and make this possible.

We are always excited to see new faces and celebrate YOUR speeches and YOUR stories. We hope all those that joined us had a fabulous time, we know Santa Rosa 182 sure did!

We had such a "jolly" good time at our Holiday meeting ("jolly" being our word-of-the-day). As you can see, “We make public speaking fun!”

On Monday, Club 182 had our Halloween Meeting!

It was an incredible evening of non-traditional outfits and non-traditional Toastmastery.

Our President Dave Blum brought us our very first ever 'Reverse Meeting', leading us as Toastmaster through a meeting which started at the end and ran backwards! This was a wonderful exercise in improvisation and working together. All members adapted their roles, building backwards based on functionary reports, Table Topics speeches followed by prompts, evaluations, and more fun culminating in largely extemporaneous speeches from Donica & Brooke. A great evening was had by all!

We were also honored to be visited by Cap'n Crunch, who was dressed as our new Area Director Renee Hawk! It was a pleasure to host our Area Director and we hope Renee will join us again to get a feel for our regular meetings.

In just a couple of weeks we will be saying goodbye to summer!

That means now is the perfect time to get ahead of your New Years resolutions by honing your public speaking skills. No matter your application, work, school, non-profits, & more, our diverse and enthusiastic club welcomes you to join us every Monday!

Our upcoming meeting on the 9th will feature three speakers spanning all levels of Toastmasters experience. Come see some great speeches and get a chance to join in yourself during our Table Topics!
