We had an amazing time celebrating at this year's Silicon Valley Pride Parade and Festival! 🌈✨

From marching in the parade to connecting with community members at the festival, we were proud to stand alongside and support the LGBTQ+ community. Whether you marched with us or stopped by to say hello at our table, thank you for helping make the weekend so special.

This year's theme, "Flourish & Bloom," reminds us that true growth happens when people are welcomed and empowered to show up as their authentic selves. 🎉 All 2026 SFMNP cards have been distributed!

Thank you to everyone who came out to visit us at the farmers markets this season. We enjoyed connecting with our community and helping participants access fresh, locally grown produce.

We are excited to share that Sourcewise will be participating once again in the SV Pride Festival and Parade hosted by SV Pride on Sunday, August 30, 2026, in downtown San Jose. See if you can catch us in the parade happening from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 pm., or stop by our table to learn about our newest updates and services from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Interested in getting a 2026 Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) card this year? Our last distribution day is happening this Saturday, August 22 at the Sunnyvale Farmers' Market beginning at 9:00 a.m.

A few things to keep in mind:
🍎 Cards will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We recommend arriving early in order to secure your card!
🥕 Bring a current form of ID, such as a driver's license, senior ID card, or a passport so you can verify your identity.

💧 Hydration is key to healthy aging! At Sourcewise, we know that staying hydrated is one of the simplest ways older adults can support their overall health and well-being. As we age, our sense of thirst may decrease, making it easier to become dehydrated without realizing it. Drinking water throughout the day can help support energy, focus, digestion, and daily wellness.

Advancing digital literacy goes beyond the classroom. To empower our Digital Link program participants to build confidence using technology in real-world settings, our team organized a field trip to the Google Gradient Canopy in Mountain View. The participants enjoyed applying their new digital skills by scanning QR codes for digital tour guides, interacting with AI exhibits, and creating personalized photos.

A special thank you to Roosevelt Community Center, SJAccess, and the San José Public Library Foundation for helping make this trip possible by transporting and accompanying us!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our first 2026 Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) distribution at Berryessa Farmers' Market this past Saturday, August 15, and a big thank you to the volunteers who enabled us to communicate with all of our neighbors - regardless of language!

Now, we're focused on preparing for our second SFMNP distribution day this Friday, August 21, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.

A few things to keep in mind:
