Sarah House continues today as a home of loving kindness, one that welcomes all. It is our belief that everyone deserves a place to die in dignity and peace. Our staff and volunteers create such an environment and extend their care to the dying and their loved ones as well.

This week at Sarah House, I witnessed some difficult moments with families that were coming to terms with their acceptance over the phrase:

“we are entering the final phase”

I went for a walk and realized nature was showing me an example of what I had witnessed.
