Watching the fires and evacuations unfolding near Spokane is a sobering reminder of how quickly things can change during fire season.

While these fires aren't in Bonner County, they are close enough to remind us that wildfire is not just something that happens somewhere else.

That's why we've launched the Bonner County Fire Relief Fund.

We hope we never need it. But if disaster strikes, we want to be ready to support local families and firefighters when they need us most.

You can learn more, access preparedness resources, and support the fund at: https://www.crecidaho.com/fire-response

🏡 One of the biggest misconceptions about realtors?

That they're making money hand over fist on every transaction.

In this clip, Stephanie Rief, Dyno Wahl, and Fabiola Ferris from the Selkirk Association of Realtors share the reality behind the profession: if a transaction doesn't close, they don't get paid.

Listen as these local real estate professionals pull back the curtain on what really happens behind the scenes in this podcast episode. 🎙️

“We’re building this beautiful community puzzle, and pieces are just being dumped in our laps every day.” 🧩♥

In the 100th episode of A Little Birdie Told Me, CREC Executive Director Katie Begalke shares how collaboration, connection, and a willingness to ask questions are helping solve some of our community's biggest challenges.

Every piece matters. Every partner matters. And together, we're building something bigger than any one organization could do alone.

What do you love about our community?

“The people are really kind.” 💙 We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

At the Community Resource EnVision Center, we believe strong communities are built through connection, compassion, and people showing up for one another.

Our mission is to connect people, resources, and organizations in ways that strengthen support systems and create lasting impact across Bonner and Boundary Counties.

Because community change happens best — together.

From little dreamers to community changemakers. ✨

Behind every role is a real person with a story, a passion for helping others, and probably a childhood photo they never expected to share publicly. 😄

🎉 We’re celebrating 100 episodes of our community podcast! 🎙️

What started as EnVision Center News has grown into a fresh new chapter:
🐦 A Little Birdie Told Me

Hosted by Lindsay “Birdie” Morgan, the podcast shares the good happening in North Idaho nonprofits and philanthropy — the stories behind the work, the people making it happen, and the little things making a big difference in our community.

To celebrate our 100th episode, we sat down with our very own Executive Director, Katie Begalke, for a special conversation about the vision behind the Community Resource EnVision Center, the heart of the work, and where we’re headed next. 💙

Thank you to every guest, listener, supporter, and community partner who helped us reach this milestone!
