Monday's Trail Project on Scotchman Peak was tough but productive! Led by Savannah, our crew of three tackled some serious obstacles over 1.5 miles of trail, including a large green tree early on that was heavy enough to stop hikers in their tracks, and two massive root balls further up that had caused hikers to create a steep social trail cutting off one of the switchbacks. We cleared the tree, covered the social trail, and built out more defined tread around the root balls to get things closer to the original trail line. All in a day's work! π
