We were contacted about a kitty who was crying for help from inside a storm drain. By the time we were able to get there, she had been trapped for at least four hours. Animal control had already been contacted, so we honestly didn't think she would still be there.

But she was.

This sweet girl has a name tag and a tracker, and her name is Ginger. Unfortunately, the phone number listed on her tag has been disconnected. We scanned her for a microchip, but no microchip was found.

Ginger was found in Highland, California. She appears to be well-loved, and we would love to reunite her with her family.

Please share this post. If you know Ginger or her owners, please have them email us at [email protected] so we can help get her back home.

Smudge is making huge improvements!

When we first rescued this beautiful boy, we thought there was a very good chance he was going to lose one of his eyes. But over the past several weeks, that eye has made some incredible progress.

We still need to have a test performed to determine whether there is pressure in the eye that could be causing him pain. If there isn't, our little man may get to keep his eye. We don't believe he has much vision in it, but avoiding such an invasive surgery would be a huge win for Smudge.

We've been incredibly busy lately, but we have lots of updates coming soon on our special needs kitties. Stay tuned!

The demand for spay and neuter in our community is overwhelming!
Times are hard and people are scraping just to get by. We know people love their pets and sometimes dont have the funds to spay/neuter. We want to be part of the solution, we want to help people keep their pets healthy, we want to make a difference in our underfunded city. We want to end the pain and suffering of thousands of kitties being born on the streets!

All spots got filled quickly. We hope to do this again in the near future.

Is this something you guys would consider donating towards if we started a fundraiser to help us cover the costs of another event?

Let us know what you think.

Scout went to the vet and she did great!

She still has one eye that is somewhat functional, which is amazing news. 🤗

She was sent home with eye drops and antibiotics and is already starting to feel a little better. Today she even started to play, which was so wonderful to see.

We will continue monitoring her eye closely and keep everyone updated on her progress. Thank you to everyone who has been following Scout's journey and cheering her on. ❤️

Meet Tabasco!

We rescued this spicy little kitten from someone's backyard today. She was hiding deep in a pile of debris and old yard tools, making her quite the challenge to catch. At one point I was convinced I had completely missed her with the net. Then it looked like she was inside the net... and then she definitely wasn't. For a moment we thought she was about to make her escape.

Luckily, we were able to grab her quickly before she disappeared again.

This tiny girl has plenty of opinions and is not afraid to share them. She is super spicy, so we decided the name Tabasco suited her perfectly.

Stay tuned for updates on Miss Tabasco! ❤️
