Good news for Central Kansas employers and jobseekers.

Build A Pro Foundation has been awarded a $14,880 Kansas Registered Apprenticeship grant through the Kansas Department of Commerce as part of a statewide investment in apprenticeship programs.

This funding helps us work directly with local employers to:

*Create registered apprenticeship programs
*Develop skilled talent from within our community
*Support long-term workforce stability across industries

We’re thankful for our current employer partners, Relev8 IT and JabIT PC, and for the opportunity to work with even more local businesses.

Good news — we’ve launched a brand-new IT Apprenticeship!

Build A Pro Foundation is now accepting inquiries for our Apprentice IT Service Center Technician program. It’s an 18-month, paid apprenticeship where participants get hands-on IT training, industry certifications, and mentor support while earning a wage from day one.

What makes this exciting:
• Learn to repair computers, printers, iOS devices, and other workplace equipment
• Earn CompTIA certifications with no out-of-pocket tuition (a $3,000 value)
• Starting pay is $13.50/hr with increases up to $20+/hr as skills grow
• Extra $0.50/hr for bilingual applicants and veterans
• Personalized coaching and wraparound support throughout the program

This is a true earn-while-you-learn opportunity for anyone ready to start or change their career.

Thank you to everyone who has already supported Lazarus House as we prepare to open our men’s Second-Base Sober Housing program designed for the second-chancer. Your generosity is helping us create a safe, structured, spiritually grounded home where men can rebuild their stability and move toward independent, healthy living.

Build A Pro Foundation is an apprenticeship intermediary and is a concierge service for businesses, handling paperwork, reviews, and reporting of registered apprenticeships. Additionally, Build A Pro offers wrap-around services and support for our apprentices.
