Update: Remember Thistle! 🐾

She has officially completed all of her vet care and is ready to find her forever home! 🏠❤️

After spending most of her life outside, Thistle has come a long way and realized that humans are pretty great after all. She is a sweet 7-month-old girl who is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Thistle is a bit on the shy side initially, but once she knows you and feels safe, her sweet, gentle personality shines right through. She has done wonderfully around both dogs and cats, making her a great candidate for most homes.

If you’re ready to give this sweet girl the indoor forever life she deserves, we’d love to hear from you!

Meet Brooke and Storm! 🐾

These two sweet girls came to us from a sad situation where they were kept locked in a closet alongside many other Chihuahuas (we wish we could have taken more 😭). Shockingly they are both gentle, sweet, and loving.

They are both still pretty young it seems. We will have a better guess at ages after their vet checkup. They were covered in fleas when they first arrived, which left poor Storm with a bit of skin irritation around her eyes, but with proper care and treatment, they will both be feeling great soon.

Not Yet Available for Adoption: They still need vet care, including vaccinations, spays, and exams. We are currently giving them time to settle in so we can evaluate whether they are a truly bonded pair or if they are simply taking comfort in each other right now.

We will keep everyone updated as they heal and show us more of their sweet personalities. Keep watching our page for updates on their journey!

Meet Button! 🐾

As you can see, she’s going to need a little extra TLC. We will get her scheduled with the vet to get to the bottom of her hair loss and skin issues, plus get her up to date on her vaccines, a heartworm test, and eventually spayed.

She has a bit of a road ahead of her, but despite it all, we already know one thing for certain: she is absolute sweet perfection. Can you see why we couldn’t say no?! 😭 Thank you Joely!

Weekly news and update:🐶⭐️

We are still raising funds for Groot’s aftercare, and just last week we received news that our sweet foster Sophia needs surgery to remove a tumor. On top of that, we need to schedule two dentals.

Against our better judgment, we are also taking in three new faces. While we initially didn't want to take in anything new, they truly needed us. So many animals need us right now. I wish I could have said yes to more from this heartbreaking case, but without enough funds and foster homes, three was our absolute limit even though we shouldn't have taken on even that much.

We know we can get through this because we have all of you, and these animals still need us. 💙

Cost breakdown
🍀Groot still needs around $600 for after care X-rays, exams, med refills
🐶Sophia has a mammary tumor that is scheduled for removal at the end of the month. She will need X-rays and surgery, $1000
🐩🐩Two dentals, Navy and Toby total around $1500 (maybe less if they don’t need many teeth pulled)
⭐️Three new intakes need everything: vaccines, heartworm test, heartworm prevention, f***l test, three spay procedures-$1200 (maybe more)

Total needed=$4300 🙃🙃🙃🙃

We have also been receiving donations from our Amazon and Chewy list. The items were much needed and I distributed them so fast I didn’t even get pictures. THANK YOU 🙏

Our Mr. Lug getting his special ice treatment. 💙 He’s in pain but they are managing him. Pain is expected after surgery so we continue to hope for the best.

We are actively looking for foster homes for small dogs currently at high risk of euthanasia in a local shelter. While our rescue funds are non existent now, opening a foster home directly saves a life.

What to expect: These dogs are stressed in the shelter environment and need supportive homes where they can build confidence and socialize. We need experienced, patient fosters who understand that recovery takes time.
