Legacy of Hay In 2015 Haylee was diagnosed with a complete AV canal heart defect and pulmonary hypertension. This is her ph journey .

E-Mail [email protected] A few months ago we received the worst news of our life our vibrant funny happy full of life three year old was sick not just just sick but extremely ill pulmonary hypertension is something I never even hear of until that day we where in shock it took a couple months for it all

to really start sinking in and research to really understand the reality of the situation the reality is this is a progressive non curable life threatening disease in which medications can help with symptoms and slow down progression but can not rid the condition over time the stress on your heart becomes to much and in Hay she already has a defect in her heart that St this time can not be fixed because of the lungs this disease is rare and a lot is unknown as everyone responds different to treatments all that is know is if they can't fix Haylees heart she will will not live until adult good if they can she may live into adult hood but for how long is unclear she will have to remain on medications for the rest of her life many activities we all take For granted will be difficult for her wearing oxygen daily will be in her future having children will not be possible the not knowing is terrible hearing now some people are living with this decades is not very confronting when your child is only three decades for her is early 20's but we will not take this lying down we will fight hope and pray everyday for a miracle because sitting back and watching Haylee die is not an option we have to do everything we can to save her she's to great of a person not to love s fill life making people smile she continues to inspire us and we will never give up on her

Thank you to has bday twinies Felicia Bovinett for always being willing to donate to items to raffle at 💜🦓Hay’s Fairyland Extravaganza🦄🩵 each year. We love seeing what creations you come up with each each. They are always different and always have a touch of Haylee in them which we absolutely love 🥰 whoever is lucky enough to win the inch work certainly will smile and think of Hay every-time they look at it .. she loved wearing silly glasses like those, and I can’t wait to hear what name they give it. I was trying to think what would Haylee name him .. she came up with the random est out of the blue names for everything. And that’s how we came to have an ornery cat named banana 🍌😼 and the picnic basket is such a fun ideal for raffle basket! Hay loved to sit a soak in the beauty the world had to offer, this basket will give someone a chance to go do that.💜 thank you for crafting something to help continue to spread Hay’s Legacy.

💜Hay’s Fairyland Extravaganza is 4 weeks away 🦓Sunday July 12 th 10:00-1:00 pm🦓 at Veterans Tribute Park shelter #1 located at 1031 Kisker Rd. Weldon Springs, 63304💜

👼🏻We are celebrating Haylee’s 7 th Heavenly Bday👼🏻 this is not a day to be sad, it’s a day to celebrate an extraordinary life🌟 while also PHighting for a cure PH🦓

💙💛Appearance by Hay’s friends at SCCAD with an ambulance to explore🚑 and Louie from the St. Louis Blues 🥅🏒

💫Activities include: carnival games- everyone wins a prize😉, face painting 👩🏽‍🎨, tattoos, coloring station, balloon art and photo props🤹🏻

🕊we will have a dove release honoring Hay🕊

🎟there will be raffle baskets 👏🏻 drawling will be around 12:30, but you don’t have to be present to win. We will call winners to set up drop off time. All proceeds will go to 7Runs4Hay to benefit Team Phenomenal Hope, to help ph patients with unmet needs and help in research for a cure.💜$1 a ticket $20 an arm length !

🧜🏼‍♀️Haylee always said there are only two rules: 1- be yourself and 2- have fun. So stop by tomorrow and have some fun! If you have Hay themed gear please wear it in her honor🥰 Blues💙💛, pineapples 🍍, unicorns 🦄, ponies 🐴, zebra stripes 🦓, mermaids 🧜🏼‍♀️, or whatever else makes you think of Hay.💜

Visit Haylee today since we won't be able to go next weekend. We read her Biscuit Father's Day book today 🐶. No father should have to visit their child in a cemetery on Father's Day. The person in this world that made Haylee feel the safest was her Dada. Going down the big hill sledding, riding the Ferris wheel at the fair, catching a frozen hockey puck being thrown to her, putting on her dry suit to swim, and carrying her down the hospital hall to the operating room - she knew with a smile that asking him for anything would always be a yes, even if it meant driving 2.5 hours in a snowstorm to pick up her new cat. They loved to do things that they knew made me nervous, so they could laugh, like going round in circles in the basement on the hoverboard. Or teaming up to do things that would make me say 'seriously,' like peeling paint off the wall... and she was quick to point out to me when her Dada did the most, like unwrapping all her Hershey's kisses for her... even at seven, she still loved squeezing next to him on his chair to watch her shows. She loved her Dada to the depths and made sure to let him know it every day. I know he still feels it to this day… and even though physically she is gone, he still finds ways to show his love for her… like cutting the grass around her headstone, spraying for bugs and cleaning off the bird p**p. A mother's grief is more often spoken about, but a father's grief is just as deep. 🩵🪽

🐤🌸 Come out on July 12th to help us celebrate Hay's 7th heavenly birthday 🪽🎂. This adorable giant rubber duck will be one of our raffle items 🐤🌸. Tickets will be $1 each or $20 for an arm's length. You don't have to be present to win. 🎟️ All proceeds will go to Team PHenomenal Hope 🫁🫀🦓 and will help in the fight to cure PH, as well as provide funds for unmet needs grants for PH patients.
