Steve Williams, KAHStPeters Director and EStevenson (E) joined in a line to help pack some meals at our most recent packing. E has a story to tell; he was raised in Haiti and is grateful for the food Kids Against Hunger sent that he enjoyed while growing up in an orphanage there. A great packing Saturday, May 21st with 250 volunteers packing 75,000 meals. Terry Estes, Steve Williams, Estevensor (E) and Bruce Hill joined by volunteers from WayPoint Church, including young families and Brace for Impact volunteers to make the day a success. E raised in Haiti, ate the very type of food we packed on Saturday and was very grateful for it; now he is working to supply food for other starving kids.

We have some exciting news. These children are from a school in Haiti that Kids Against Hunger St. Peters has helped supply food for them. A glimpse into what we are all about…

On a recent trip into the remote parts of Africa, a team from Global Compassion and Kids Against Hunger Ministries, www.kahstpeters.com were able to see the real time impact that our meals are having in the most difficult of circumstances. From the ghetto to the Nairobi dump, to the Sudanese refugee camps, to the u***d mothers, and the voiceless, the food was declared as one of the single greatest things they had received. The vitamins, minerals, dehydrated vegetables and protein gave life sustaining hope to hopeless people. There was a notable difference between those who had received food to those who had not. Such a small thing as a meal made all the difference in energy, health, learning and growth both physical, spiritual and mental. All ministries begged for more.

Let it be known, to every soul we are allowed to speak into, we state with absolute clarity, “we give this word of truth, this glass of water and this meal in Jesus’ name.”
