HAP is honored to share that President & CEO, May Yer Thao, was invited to participate in an AANHPI Heritage Month Roundtable at the U.S. Capitol convening national Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander leaders alongside Congressional leadership and members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC).

The discussion focused on the priorities impacting AANHPI communities across the country and the importance of ensuring our communities’ voices, experiences, and contributions are reflected in national policy conversations.

We are grateful for the opportunity to help elevate the perspectives of Hmong, Southeast Asian, immigrant, and refugee communities while continuing to advocate for economic opportunity, education, workforce development, small business growth, health, and community wellbeing for all.
