At our Lions meeting, we had the pleasure of hearing from Boy Scout Asher Johnson about his incredible adventure at Sea Base in the Florida Keys!

The Lions Club was proud to donate $1,000 to help Asher take part in this once in a lifetime experience. He shared stories from his trip, including canoeing 7 miles out to an island owned by the Boy Scouts of America, where they spent five days and five nights exploring and learning.

During their time at Sea Base, they went fishing, night scuba diving, and had amazing encounters with marine life, including sharks and barracudas, along with seeing the unique wildlife on the island.
