HAIS: Hmong Americans Involving Students HAIS The acronym HAIS stands for Hmong Americans Involving Students. Hais in Hmong means TO SPEAK.

HAIS was founded by students from the College of Saint Benedict who are committed to preserving and learning about Hmong culture as well as giving back to their community in the form of service and education. Speaking out has long been regarded as a form of empowerment and that is exactly what HAIS wants to do, and that is to empower people to make positive changes in their community through service, education, and awareness.

Saint Benedict and St Johns is celebrating our annual Hmong New Year! We would like to invite everyone to come and join our celebration. There will be prizes, food, and many traditional Hmong performances. We are happy to announce our special performers Sua Vaj and Pong Vang!
