Today we celebrate the heart and heritage of South Dakota agriculture! The hardworking families, ranchers, and producers who keep our traditions alive and our communities strong.

Did you know?

🚜 Agriculture is South Dakota’s leading industry, with over 95% of its roughly 28,000 farms being family-owned, contributing over $21 billion annually to the economy.

🐄 South Dakota has around 4 million cows, meaning cattle outnumber people by about five to one.

🌽 South Dakota is in the top ten for producing corn, soybeans, wheat, and sunflowers!

🌾 Nearly 90% of South Dakota’s land is dedicated to farming and ranching.

🐝 Our state ranks 3rd in the nation for honey!

This year I had the privilege of serving as a 2026 Rodeo Houston Pivot girl for Cervi Championship Rodeo! My days were filled with caring for the horses, riding in the NRG stadium, and loading some of the toughest broncs and bulls into the chutes. It’s truly been an unforgettable experience. Thank you for having me!

Thank you Huron PRCA Rodeo and Big Bucks Pro Rodeo for having me at the DEX! I had so much fun being able to ride so close to my hometown as Miss Rodeo South Dakota. I also was able to see all the local queens and I can tell you the future of rodeo is in great hands! I can’t wait to see these young ladies grow through our beautiful sport!💕
