This week, we put together 209 CarePacks for the children at St. Cloud elementary schools!

Just to break it down for you, each bag contains 11 items, which means that when we lay everything out, we’re preparing a total of 2,299 items!

Our amazing volunteers carefully pack all these items into bags, and our dedicated drivers deliver them to the schools for the children.

We are so grateful for our wonderful volunteers and drivers who help make this possible. It truly takes a village, and together, we are making a difference in the lives of these kids! ❤️🙌

We are thankful for our community that continually shows up for us. Thank you to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, SugarMill Mobile Home and RV park, and Cornerstone Family Church, which all provided generous donations over the past few weeks. Together we are making a difference in St. Cloud.

This week we put together 159 CarePacks!

Over the past fourteen years one of the happiest parts of our Thursday packing sessions is looking around the meeting room provided for us at St. Luke and St. Peter Church, and realizing the 200+ CarePacks of weekend food are on the way to area elementary school children.
It all happens within a hour or less because of the generous food and monetary donations provided from local chuches and organizations in the community.
There is a joy to see how well a diverse group of volunteers work together to get all this accomplished.
As you shop this week, please consider donating cans of tuna, Vienna sausages, instant oatmeal packets, applesauce, pudding cups, granola bars and tomato or chicken noodle condensed soups. Please remember NO GLASS.
If you'd rather we do the shopping, we also accept checks made payable to St. Cloud Cares. They can me mailed to 2745 Canoe Creek Road, 34772, or contact Barb (407-908-5607) and we would be happy to pick it up.

1 in every 5 children in America is dealing with food insecurities. Our goal has always been to help the children of St. Cloud with weekly CarePacks, providing nutritionally based food for the weekends. We average 200 CarePacks a week.

During “Hunger Action Month,” our local Texas Roadhouse has provided a wonderful opportunity to help raise funds to support our mission. Please consider making a donation through your server, as you enjoy an amazing meal during the month of September.
