I’m so very grateful to have gotten to know Kim Cole through my work and to now call her a friend. During my grieving journey, she has been a great source of support and a listener who always prays for me and encourages me whenever I feel down.

Thank you very much for your donation in honor of our Mia. I'm so glad you got to meet our Mia as well.

You and your husband have touched my heart, and I’m sure that with your donation, we will be able to help orphaned children in Vietnam.

Thank you again for your generosity.

We have received a $1,000 donation from Kim Cole and Steven Cole.

I went to Vietnam for a short work trip, and my friends and I decided to revisit the orphanage in D**g Thap. The children remembered my name and were so happy to meet my friend, who is a very famous singer in Vietnam. We all had a wonderful time, and the kids were amazed by my friend’s performance—not only his singing, but also his magic.

We were glad to see that the children are well cared for by the nuns and that they love one another like a family.

We donated milk, rice, rice noddles, toothpastes , toothbrushes , medications, diapers, wet wipes, eggs and cash.

It always warms our hearts to see the children from Cai Nuoc Elementary School in Ca Mau. They love spending time with Sam and eagerly try to speak English with him, their smiles full of excitement.

This time, we were able to support 5 orphaned students from their school, along with 21 orphaned students from Quang Trung Middle School. The children made a sweet promise—to study hard, especially English, so that next time we meet, they can communicate confidently with Sam in English.

Being with these children brought back so many memories and emotions from my own childhood. I was once a child from a small village, struggling to rise above poverty and work toward a future that could support my family.

I hope they understand my message—that with hard work, perseverance, and faith in themselves, they too can build a better life, just as I once hoped and tried to do.

It breaks our hearts to know these beautiful children were abandoned by their parents. Still, they are blessed to be loved and cared for by the devoted nuns at Buu Thang Orphanage.

The kids are so well-behaved and get along well with each other.

This was our first visit, and it won’t be our last. We were grateful to donate diapers, wipes, instant noodles, milk, rice, stuffed animals, and $750 to help with food and utility costs.

This is the second year we’ve supported the boarding school organized by Thiên Ân Church in Đắk Nông, Việt Nam. The school cares for about 45 ethnic minority children from nearby villages — many of them extremely poor or without parents.

This year, we helped repair the leaking classroom roof and renovate the entire room so the kids can study in a safer, brighter space. But the most exciting part was setting up a small library with more than 600 books. Our daughter Mia loved reading, and her very first word was “book.” We believe Mia would be so happy to see these children discovering stories and enjoying books the way she once did.

We were also grateful to offer some financial support for 20 orphans and share a warm lunch with all the kids.

Our hope is simple — that these children will feel loved, supported, and inspired in their new classroom and their very first library.

It’s been three years since we became regular donors to Dang Khoa Orphanage, and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. This year, we were blessed to gift them a gently used piano so the boys can worship the Lord with music. A friend also added a guitar to their little “orchestra.”

We learned that the kids needed more protein in their diet, so we contributed four live pigs to their farm. Mr. Thông — the foster father of the orphanage — was so happy to share that their vegetable garden is thriving, helping them earn a bit of extra money to feed the boys.

After school, the boys work together on the farm, supporting one another like a true family. The joy on their faces makes it seem as if life’s hardships have never touched them.

Thank you so much for your donations. Because of your kindness, we were able to make their lives a little lighter and help them see more hope, more love, and a brighter future ahead.

They also enjoyed the early Christmas dinner a lot.

The boys at Dang Khoa Orphanage in Đắk Lắk were absolutely glowing with joy when Santa arrived with presents and an early Christmas.

I have so much love for this place, and so many beautiful stories to tell. I’ll share more soon…
