Please find attached the April 2026 Harbor Woods Village HOA Newsletter (Volume 1, Issue 1).

First, a sincere thank you to everyone who participated in our recent Easter Egg Hunt—it was a tremendous success. The turnout, energy, and sense of community truly reflected what makes Harbor Woods Village such a special place to live. We appreciate all who volunteered their time and those who joined in the festivities.

As you review this month’s newsletter, a few key highlights to keep in mind:

1. HOA Communication Channels:
Please continue to utilize the HOA email for questions or concerns, and our page for timely community updates and shared information.

2. Upcoming Events:
Be on the lookout for details regarding our “Grill & Chill: Summer Edition” block party, which promises to be another great opportunity to connect with neighbors.

3. Annual General Meeting (October 2026):
This will include important discussions on budget allocation, neighborhood proposals, board elections, and watershed updates—your participation is strongly encouraged.

4. Annual HOA Dues:
A reminder that 2026 dues are $30, with multiple payment options available. Your support directly contributes to maintaining the quality and cohesion of our neighborhood.

5. Community Engagement:
Our HOA continues to focus on preserving neighborhood standards, fostering communication, and organizing events that strengthen our collective sense of community.

📢 Important Notice for Bishop Creek & Safety Harbor Residents

Good morning neighbors,

Tuesday, March 10th will be an important day for our community, with two key events that directly impact Safety Harbor residents.

🗳 City Council Election – Commission Seat #4
Residents will vote to fill City Council Commission Seat #4. The candidates are David Gallagher and Kevin Shanks.

Local resident Gary Rosenberg has spoken with David Gallagher on several occasions regarding the ongoing deficiencies in Safety Harbor’s stormwater drainage system. Mr. Gallagher has expressed awareness of these issues and supports the need for city action. A meeting request was also sent to Kevin Shanks to discuss the stormwater system, though no response has been received to date.

💧 City Watershed Management Plan Meeting
Safety Harbor’s Public Works Department, along with their contractor Jones Edmunds, will present the latest updates on the City’s Watershed Management Plan.

This plan is critical because it will help determine the future direction of Safety Harbor’s stormwater drainage improvements and is required in order for the city to pursue funding for corrective infrastructure projects.

A huge thanks to all who came out and participated in the front island cleanup. Your time and effort were greatly appreciated. If you have an opportunity to share photos please tag the HWV HOA.

As we grow our community engagement we encourage others to join us for future events. As an HOA we would like to adopt the philosophy of "bring a neighbor" to all events (all residents are welcome) - we seek to engage and grow our HOA to become a resource and organization that provides support to all those who call HWV their home.

Thank you all for attending the meeting last night and for paying the annual dues.
We encourage all homeowners to pay the annual dues of $30. A small investment to a vibrant community.
