Thank you, Mission City Church in Largo, for having us this morning to talk about compassion and foster care. ❤️

We looked at the Good Samaritan and the kind of compassion that sees, moves toward brokenness, and helps restore.

Our challenge was simple: choose to be more compassionate today than we were yesterday.

We’re grateful for churches willing to step toward the hard places, and we’re excited to be in many more churches over the next several months. We believe the local Church has the most vital role to play in answering the foster care crisis.

Tomorrow in church, a 15-year-old girl in foster care will be told for the first time that she matters to God. That she is seen. That she is worthy of love… and this is why the church needs to be involved in foster care.

Our Annual Impact Report is a beautiful reminder of all the Lord did this past fiscal year through incredible foster families, faithful donors, church partners, volunteers, and friends of A Door of Hope.

Every home opened, every family supported, and every child loved points us back to Jesus and His heart for vulnerable children.

Through our therapeutic program, foster families have access to professional, trauma-informed support when they need it most. Your generosity helps stabilize placements, equip foster parents, and create better outcomes for children who have already experienced so much.
