Tonight, we held the first ever Sensory Friendly Craft Night at the Municipal Complex. This event was a fun, inclusive and relaxed crafting experience for all age groups.

We would like to thank the students from the Saddle Brook High School and everyone from the Saddle Brook Mayor’s Youth Group, Saddle Brook Community Partnership, and Saddle Brook Recreation Department for their assistance tonight.

Special thanks to the Saddle Brook Woman’s Club for their generous donations of supplies for each craft station, Michelle Nosch for organizing the scrapbook station, and Monica Maniscalco of Legacy Empowerment for her assistance in coordinating this event.

NATIONAL POLICE WEEK
MAY 10 - 16, 2026

In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15 falls, as National Police Week.

National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

The Saddle Brook Police Department honors the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of our law enforcement partners at the local, state, and federal levels. We remember the officers who gave their lives in the line of duty and express our enduring gratitude to those who continue to serve and protect our communities every day.

To our SBPD Officers: Thank you for your commitment to our community and the sacrifices you and your families make that often go unnoticed.

SBPD MEMORIAL SERVICE

The annual Saddle Brook Police Memorial Service will be held at our new location at Saddle Brook Police Department, 63 Market Street on FRIDAY, MAY 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM.

The community is welcome to attend this special event as we honor and pay tribute to officers we have lost.
