We are saddened by the death of an American Patriot, James Babuscio. James fought on the battlefield and he fought his cancer long and hard. Cancer that started during his deployments, from the burn pits. James underwent many operations and treatments in his battle. But the cancer could not be stopped. We are proud to have known him and that we had the chance to help him enjoy some of his loves.
James loved his family and loved God’s creation, the outdoors.
We give special thanks to Mike O’Neil of Creative Taxidermy in Sabinal Texas for arraigning the Axis deer hunt for James.
We miss you, James.

We were able to get two different groups up to Cygnet Lake Camp in Ontario, Canada. Both groups had a great trip, fortunate enough to punch some tags!!

Patriot Healing Adventures celebrated it’s 10th year with a weekend-long time of fellowship, great food, 9-11 Memorial trip, fishing, more great food (All supplied by Aldo Cascio, owner of Aldo’s and The Brick House) and a sporting clays shoot at Hudson Farm Club, followed by dinner and an auction.

As we approach the official day to celebrate our veterans, THANK YOU to all who have served.
PHA board members had the privilege of meeting with Hudson Valley Honor Flight this weekend. (Hvhonorflight.com). The national organization (honorflight.org) and the Hudson Valley chapter, NEEDS YOU VETERANS to be “Guardians” on their flights. They are taking the few remaining WWII veterans, Korean War Veterans, Vietnam Veterans and ALL who have served in this time period on Honor flights. Each Veteran is assigned a Guardian. Word is, they REALLY like to meet and travel with our younger veterans. It only costs your time and likely you will gain even more than they will from spending time with them!

Hudson Valley Honor Flight is a nonprofit organization which “Honors American Veterans” by transporting these heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorials.

What an awesome start to PHA’s 2023 year! From our fundraiser in May to Canada bear hunting to Alaska fishing the adventures are just getting started. Check back in the fall to see wild hog hunts, deer hunts and North Carolina coastal bear hunting adventures. Thank you to those who have served (and are still serving on active duty) this great nation!
