Table to Table rescues fresh, healthy surplus food that would otherwise be wasted and delivers it to agency partners, including soup kitchens, homeless shelters and senior facilities that serve nutritious meals to the hungry. Table to Table is a community based food rescue program that collects prepared and perishable food that would otherwise be wasted and delivers it to organizations that serve the hungry in Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Passaic counties. We “rescue” food from over 150 donors (supermarkets, distributors, restaurants) and deliver it the same day free of charge to over 200 community organizations including soup kitchens, homeless shelters, after-school programs and homes for the elderly.

🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳✨We donated surplus food from our Chefs Gala. The chefs prepared such delicious selections, we didn’t have a lot left, but one of our newest volunteers, Nicole, brought it to Never Alone Again Resource Ctr in Teaneck, which assists domestic violence survivors and hosts community meals. We also gave attendees take-home containers to take their unfinished meals home to make sure nothing went to waste. 🥩🍤🍝

Hundreds of people had a blast at our annual Chefs Gala at The Rockleigh!

Exceptional food, fine w**e, and, most importantly, your generosity, translated into impact that helped address food insecurity by closing the gap between food waste and hunger in northern New Jersey!

Children, families, and seniors in need throughout Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, and Passaic counties will be impacted because of the generosity of not just our attendees, but our roster of outstanding chefs and mixologists, who dedicated their times and talents to furthering our food rescue mission.

We are so grateful to our amazing sponsors, beverage purveyors, our Founder's Table Inductees, and our Chef Honoree Kwame Onwuachi.

An extra special thanks to the evening's incomparable Chef Co-Chairs Jamie Knott and Chef Ryan DePersio, who helped make this event one of our most delicious and successful yet!

🍎🍊🍇HEALTHLY LEADERSHIP 🥕🥬🥗
Thank you to RWJBarnabas Health employees for donating more than 12,000 lbs. of food to us while attending a leadership retreat Wednesday. They also donated 1,200 lbs. of freshly-prepared catered surplus food from the conference.
We donated the freshly-prepared food to Market Street Mission and the hundreds of bags of food to our new community partner, Rutgers Student Food Pantry at Rutgers University—New Brunswick.
As a 501c3 nonprofit, Table to Table picks up surplus food at no charge and delivers it for free to community organizations serving neighbors in need. Donations like this occur because of the relationships we forge with donors and recipients throughout northern New Jersey.

🥪💦🍓🍇 Another year, another amazing Impact Day at Affinity Federal Credit Union!
Dozens of volunteers made thousands of lunch packs in partnership with us. Our Executive Director Heather Thompson spoke to the group about our 27-year food rescue mission. We delivered the lunch packs to more than a dozen of our community partners: nourish.NJ, Hilltop Haven, Greenway Family Success Center, Interfaith, Ponds Food Pantry BERGEN COUNTY CHOICE PANTRY, boysandgirlsclub of Wayne, Chester-Mendham Food Pantry, Feeding Hands, Center for Family Resources, Community Hope, Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, CALVARY TEMPLE INTERNATIONAL, and Ministerios. de Avivamiento in Passaic. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and to Affinity for partnering with us!
