I am a lovely lady.😍
HOW OLD ARE YOU?
I was born in 2018.
WHAT BREED ARE YOU?
I am a pit bull mix.
HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH?
I weigh 51 pounds.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE?
I have a beautiful black coat with reddish brown hues in the sun, a white patch on the chest, stunning amber eyes, ears for days, and a larger than life smile. I am on the smaller, leaner side for a pit bull. 😁
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT?
In addition to my kibble, I love savory treats like chicken and fish, or maybe a quesadilla. 😜😂
WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE?
I have the personality and energy of a much younger dog. You would never guess I am eight years old based on how active and fit I am. I am always in a good mood, ready to play or cuddle, sweet and gentle with the humans around me. 🥰
DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY:
My perfect day includes walks to smell all the roses, playing fetch with myself and my favorite ball, napping next to my humans while getting belly rubs.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY?
I LOVE BALLS! My favorite one is just the right amount of squeaky and bouncy so that I can play a game I call "smack it, flip it, catch it, repeat.” 🎾
DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS?
I am great at sit, wait, fetch, and taking treats very gently.
WHAT SCARES YOU?
Losing my ball. 🫣
HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN?
Yes! I have been around some family friends that are eight to 11 years old, and I meet other children on my daily walks that love to say hi and give me pets. I love humans!
DO YOU LIKE CATS?
When I see them on my walks, I generally leave them alone, but I will take a pass on having cats for roommates, thanks.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS?
Well, I am selective about other dogs. There are other dogs in the house with me, but we do not hang out together. I leave them alone when I pass their crates, or when they pass mine. When I am on walks and see dogs, I get a bit anxious if they are too close to me. I would prefer to be the only pet in the home, please. 😏
IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE?
Going on walks or sniff spots, and getting cuddles from my very own humans.
HOW IS YOUR HEALTH?
I am fit as a fiddle! Nobody believes I am already eight years old!
WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION?
I live with three adults, and there are other young adults that come and go often. I love my foster mom because she feeds me and takes me for walks, but I will toss her aside like yesterday's kibble when her son comes home. He is my favorite human and gives me belly rubs. What can I say, I love men. 😎
WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE?
I hang out in the master bedroom. I have a crate in there that is open for me to come and go out of.
WHERE DO YOU SLEEP?
I am happy sleeping in my crate or in a bed with one of the humans.😴
DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH?
I love walks and love to sniff allll the things when I we go out. I am very good at sitting and waiting at corners when cars need to go by, or when humans need to pass by. 🐕🦺
DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?
My foster mom says I am perfection. I do not chew things I shouldn't. I am not destructive at all, so she trusts me to hang out in her room during the day while she is working downstairs.
ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED?
Yes! I am fully house trained and crate trained. 😇
DO YOU LIKE WATER?
I do just fine with baths! I enjoy being pampered and getting a little extra love. But what I really love is SWIMMING!! OMG the pool is my most favorite thing ever! I am very good about wearing a life jacket of course. 🏊♀️
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY?
I love that they love me, take me for walks and let me sniff all the things, provide me with an endless supply of balls, and they keep me safe. I just love being with humans.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOUR FUTURE ADOPTER?
I may need to be an only dog, but I promise I'm worth it. We will have a super fun life together! Will you please take me home with you? 💞
