🎉 We are honored and excited to share some wonderful news! 🎉
Very Inspirational People (VIP) has been selected as the recipient of a $1,000 Gatorade Player of the Year Community Grant, chosen by 2025–26 Gatorade California Softball Player of the Year, Ayla Tuua, of Destiny Christian Academy.
The Gatorade Player of the Year program recognizes the nation’s top high school athletes for excellence in athletics, academics, and community service. As part of the award, each state winner is given the opportunity to direct a $1,000 grant to a nonprofit organization that is making a positive impact in their community.
We are truly honored that Ayla chose VIP. Her generosity and commitment to giving back will help us continue providing inclusive sports and recreational opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Every dollar helps create meaningful experiences, build confidence, foster friendships, and make lasting memories for the athletes and families we serve.
Thank you, Ayla Tuua, for believing in our mission and investing in our athletes. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Gatorade Player of the Year for supporting organizations that are changing lives through the power of sport.
Congratulations, Ayla, on this incredible achievement! We wish you all the best as you continue your academic and softball career at Louisiana State University. 💙🥎
